Is this course really hard or are they just not playing particularly well today? Seem like lots of errant shots from top players today.

Probably a PING.

A lot of Tour players will go through an Edel fitting, then have their club company make them a putter like the one they fit into. David (Edel) is fine with that, from what I can gather.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

OK that's cool. It has that insert on the face that looks like a bunch of the edel's I've seen so I curious if he was using one.

So is Phil even going to make the cut to the next playoff event?  Was really hoping for a good showing from him.  Aside from the majors this year which were all won by previous major winners, it seems like it's been the year of the nobodies.  Boring to watch.

Callaway XR 9.5 + 1, Taylormade R15 3 Wood, Burner 3 Rescue, Callaway XHot 5H, Warbird 4H, Nike Vapor Fly 6-AW Irons, Titleist Vokey 54, 60 Wedges, Taylormade Rossa Fontana Putter, Srixon Z-Star Tour Yellow.

Best Score 2017:  82 (Traditions at the Glen, Par 70)

Favorite Course - Conklin Players Club (Par 72) - Best Score 86

Of course he will, he said he might not play though.

Watching the Barclays, the top10 at end round three only Jim had a bogy free day, to win Sunday players have to elimate there mistakes, given Jim Saturday round, I think he has his best chance for his next win.

Good to see Hunter up there on the leader board.  Now Ricky needs to catch fire, and shoot a low number.

one snap hook dose not put out of contention, in my prime days playing then handicap 6 (now 65 age) final round West Aust. country  championship 1995, hooked out bounds 17th lost lead by stroke, tee up 18th 198m par 3 4 iron holed it to win. Now retired in sth Asia, you always learning, especial in the game of golf, my quote *Elimate the mistakes* goes for all types of players pro to beginners.

Bernhard Langer was rolling along winning tournament after tournament.  He had an ungodly string of 166 holes i think without a bogey.  Then he had about 4 bogies in 9 holes or something like that.  He was definitely eliminating his mistakes.  He's won 5 times on the Champion's tour this year.

    • Day 133 (25 Apr 24) - Worked with the Divot Board today added a piece of cardboad behind the ball to help reinforce ball first contact. Contact improved through the round.   Added grandson's football goal posts about 10yds out to add a good start line visual Good session today.
    • Day 120: 4/25/24 Full Speed Spectrum training session. Low energy today and my speed was lower than normal. Will see what I can do on Saturday.
    • Day 541, April 25, 2024 Ten minutes after lessons. Still not caught up, but should be by tomorrow evening.
    • Playing irons only may lead to some short-term gains, but you'll want to at least practice with the driver if you ultimately have some decently good goals.
    • He plays from 68.3 / 124.  A combo tee setup of normal mens and seniors.   I play from 69.7/127.   He left after taking a triple on 14 and then leaving.  Which plays to what I think his plan is,   He doesn’t stroke on 14 but would have to take bogey for non completed holes on the way in.   Maybe that’s giving him too much credit, but he found a way to add 4 shots to his score over three holes so….     I looked up his last 20 rounds in GHIN and he has a lot of rounds at easier courses (rating and slope) that are higher than his normal rounds at home.   Since I mostly have his front nine score during the match (36) to go on, he has three nine hole scores at our course posted that are 41-43. I wrote the whole thing up to the head of our golf association who runs all the tournaments.  Our pro is not involved officially in the tournaments because the golf associations are separate from the club.   He’s pretty well known for this, however I was pretty shocked at how well he played carrying a 15.   I think eventually they will do something, a lot of people have complained.  The golf association threw someone out a couple of years ago and it was a three month situation where the guy retaliated.  They probably are hesitant to go thru anything like that again.  That is a rather crazy story I might post about later.
