Paiute - Snow Mountain course is great. I played Silverstone as well and thought it wasn't too bad.

Just got back from Vegas and played at the Legacy Club while I was there.  Very nice course, very well maintained, two thumbs up!

For quick access (10-15 min from airport) and not a lot of money, Desert Pines is a decent course right in town. Played a few times over the years in December while at a trade show. This year we might give Las Vegas National a go. Another older course that is relatively inexpensive. Also a quick cab ride from mid-strip. And I can second Legacy- great conditions, although when we played the wind was up about 30-40 mph so it was interesting to say the least.

Some courses I enjoy are Tuscany, Rio Secco, Rhodes Ranch, South of Vegas Boulder City and Reflection Bay.  If you can get out To Mesquite, Wolf Creek is a must.

Vegas is all about the money....How much you wanna spend? Several great courses are $500...That said a run to Wolf Creek is a must.....Google Stand By Golf.  Find the guy who handles Last Minute Teetimes. Day before he will get you off first and you'll pay 1/2 price...That's what I did. But don't have # for the guy. I paid $75 to play it. Absolute steal at that....eBay runs a Wolf Creek deal thru teetimes every now and then too.  Good Luck

I like George Fazio's Lakes Course at Primm, about 20 miles from Vegas towards CA.  I haven't played the Desert Course but have heard good things about it,

But then again, what the hell do I know?

Just came back from three days in Vegas. All three Paiute courses were great. Bear's Best was also really fun. I'd play all the above again in a heartbeat, but for the $ prefer the Paiute courses. Played Wolf Creek last spring and it is everything you read about. Everyone's Bucket List should include Wolf Creek.

    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
