Impossible to tell from these photos. It all depends how much time and effort you are willing to put into the project. You might be able to sell the lot for more than you paid for it, or you could clean and repair them to sell individually. There isn't much money in selling vintage clubs unless you get educated on what is worth it and what is just trash. I would compare it to baseball cards. It's hard to know the true value unless you are a guru.

You might be able to make some pretty cool decorative items out of them. Those things sell pretty well if you are handy with tools or know somebody that can help you turn them into something creative.

It is a storage auction and I can buy it all for about $800. If it was worth thousands I'd get it, but if it's worth less or break even, won't touch it.

The putter rack might be worth a hundred or so to the right buyer.

My guess is that the lot would be worth well over $800.

BUT..... the fact that that you say "I think they are vintage" means that you are not a golfer and would not be able to sell them as you wouldn't be able to describe them.

Who knows what's in the Callaway box, but the rest of them are at least 70 or 80 years old.

There might be some gems in there but that would be only apparent to the person who is prepared to rifle through them after giving you $5 for a bundle of them

Those hickory shafted drivers a really cool.

If I was there looking at them I very well might buy them for $800, because I think they are cool not so much to turn a profit. I would likely pick out the stuff I like, give some to friends and probably donate the rest to a local Hickory Shaft Club or Organization.

Again, as others have said, if you are wanting to turn a profit, it will take some time, effort and maybe even some education.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

They look like those bins you see in used golf club places-those bins of decades old clubs-wedges, irons, real woods-that haven't sold for decades. Priced from $0.50-$5.00.

A great deal if you are looking to make a set of clubs for a visitor who wants to play once in their lifetime, or you have a desire to make refinishing old clubs a hobby to fill in your spare time and giving away to kids groups.

Yer better off putting the $800 against credit card debt and save 18-24%

Most people won't buy this stuff-too much shiny newish stuff out there for cheap. No work involved. For nostalgia I bought a set of ping eye 2's (5-PW) for $100 Canadian. Old clubs but in VG shape and very playable.

    • Managed 51/41 this weekend.  Justin Thomas went 78 / 62 from round 1 to round 2. He has access to the best coaches, best technology, best gear, and plays probably every day (or close to it)... if he can have a 16 shot swing from one round to the next, who are we to expect consistency when going out 2x a week is an accomplishment (at least for me with 2 kids it is!).
