LIV is too big to fail. Millions of fans worldwide and big name recognition with rahm bryson and AK. Pgat doesn't really want the boys back because their golden boy scottie will win much less.

True, but I think the way the golf establishment have come together to do the intransigent PGAT's bidding for them and close LIV out of rankings, TV and such will ultimately win through, and the PGA will once hold all cards again.

Well that's about the dumbest thing I've read today.

Based on everything I've read, LIV has continued to be propped up by cash from the PIF.  That's certainly where the start-up cash came from, and I'm not sure that the LIV tour has generated enough income to pay the players the kinds of prize money they've become used to without outside support.  Perhaps I underestimate the popularity if LIV outside of the USA.  I just think that Normal and the others overestimated the enthusiasm their "changes" would generate.  Shotgun starts, loud music everywhere, 3 rounds, and fields made up of a few legitimate top players along with some aging (but big-name) veterans and lots of younger relative unknowns, none of it resonated with me, personally.

If history teaches us anything, this statement is blatantly false.  Nothing is too big to fail.

    • Go to the range somewhere or something and record FO and DL video of driver and 7-iron. Put them in CoachNow, but don't really look at them. Just document what you've got right now.
    • Played Mid Pines today.  driver went from a weapon to snap hooks. I know I was right side bending a ton. 😞  Irons is a hit or miss. Even the hit is still with no pop to it.  1. Slightly fat 2. Feels solid, but high on the clubface and the ball has a weak flight. 3. Actually solid I hade a great shot where I stripped a 5 iron from the waste area. I hit a 15 yard wide gap in the trees about 150 yards away.

    • Really well said. I'm honestly shocked to have anyone **even remotely **close to Tiger Woods, at his best. Insane, right? With health/fitness/technology (Trackman etc) now being everywhere, prize money going completely insane, and globalization being drastically advanced relative to 2000ish....Scheffler is beating better golfers than Tiger did (and beating far more of them from every corner of the globe). Remember when Tiger said (paraphrasing): "In the gym back then it was just me and Vijay"? THAT is one way you win the Masters by 12 and the US Open by 15.... All of these things combined are a point in Scottie's favor, but, I agree, he's still not on Tiger's level.  Yet. I don't think it's possible now or in the future. The fields are too deep and diverse, and, players seem too advanced and optimized (relative to the late 90's-early 2000's).
