I'm going to do a day at Bay Hill, and the Players? Anyone else going? You get a good deal if you are a veteran so that's why  I go. Plus I can usually take someone for the same price, so if anyone's interested PM me.

Just drove back from down that way.   It's too far away...😄   It does sound a like a great time.  Enjoy!

Nope.  Not even when they’re in my own backyard.

I’ll play, then retire to the clubhouse to watch in comfort on TV.

We rarely get any good male or female pro events here in the PNW....so I like to attend events live as much as possible...I've also enjoyed watching some good high level male and female Am events here too.

I like to attend events to see the actual ball flight and sounds that TV doesn't capture...I also like to see what the TV cameras don't capture and to interact a bit (more so on the LPGA...less galleries) with some of the LPGA pros who will chat a bit with the fans...you can also gain some good LPGA info chatting with their parents and some of the LPGA loops have some good info too.

Yeah...such an easy system. I live about 15min from Universal...buses are right there...zero hassle. A well run tournament every year I’ve been.

The only good thing about no Tiger is it’s easier to get around and the lines for beer are shorter...lol. You can get a good view of them warming up too. Amazing to watch their ball striking.

I followed Tiger around at the Ryder Cup a few years ago that was a beer spilling day. I got to hang out on the driving range during the RBC at Hilton Head when I was a caddie during the pro-am. Seeing those guys hit balls that close up was a humbling experience.

    • Day 109 - 2025-01-17 Good 45 minute session today. No real pulls. Flipping the club up in front of me is helpful. Primes the system. Similar to what I was doing at Sand Valley, too.
    • Day 184: went to a simulator. Played Portush and did decent. Then worked on the range for a bit. Contact is a bit toward the heel, but not bad.
    • I am that old.....born in the 50's, started school in the 60's, finished high school in the 80's, married and divorced  in the 90's, remarried in the 00's - still married and now I'm just north of 65....yes I am that old
    • Oh - should've name it - its a "Golden Retriever by Pro Classic".  I don't think this particular version is even made these days.  There is a very similar one on Amazon sold by Mobile Pro Shops....I know way too much info - but it took the count from five to six brands in the bag yesterday....
    • Day 258 (17 Jan 25) - it was the Friday men's outing and I was paired with my usual side guy, Tony, plus the greenskeeper and assistante greenskeeper.  It was not a great round - started off with dbl-bogie-dbl - I thought the day would be a day of all 6's.  Overall the dbls eased off as I finished with an 88 (45/43).  Drives were okay, wedge play was off - best part of the day were the approaches. It was a good day, not an outstanding one - had some great recoveries and decent putts.
