Where to buy AAA used balls? Titliest ?

Ok, I need to reload on golf balls. I used to hit with Titliest only. Top Flite felt like a stone. I bought a bag of 50 AAA balls off Ebay like 10 years ago. Still using that, but running low now. Sticker shock on price of new balls. $50/dozen for Pro V1? (??). No way. Is there a comparable ball priced reasonably?

This is a great spot and Amazon has a pretty good selection, as well, just be sure to read the reviews on the quality of the balls.

Depending on where you live, I've had a ton of success with Facebook marketplace and get my used balls almost exclusively through that now. There are a bunch of people in my area who walk courses and then sell the balls, and there are always photos included so you can be sure you aren't getting cart path balls and you can check them out before buying to avoid water logged balls, too.

I was using X-Out Titelist and just happened to compare one of mine to a Titleist (Black number) .

My X'd-Out ball was heavier. I mean you could actually feel that my ball was heavier. 

So, I switched to Titleist with the Red numbers. I was then putting with one and it had a scuff mark on it. 

About an inch from the hole it wobbled, and I missed my putt. 

So now I use Titeliest with a Red letter and no scuffs marks and hit and play with them fairly well. 

I get them for around $25/dozen at Walmart. 

However, I found a box of 15, Noodle, "Long and Soft", and they played very well. $14.99 for 15 balls. 

So now I am still mainly playing Titleist but will play any ball for the most part, that is in good condition.

You'll need to define what you consider to be reasonably priced.

I recommend Titleist PRACTICE ProV1/X balls; they have no performance issue, just minor cosmetic issues and have "PRACTICE" labelled on them.  I use them at home on the simulator so I can play my ProV1/X yellow balls on the course and get the same results.  If I haven't played for a while or I'm feeling rusty, I'll game the practice balls to save my yellow ones.  They're permissible for tournament play as well.  They're about $30--a great buy for a ProV1.  https://www.amazon.com/Titleist-Practice-Balls-White-Dozen/dp/B002UHQ0C8

 

Also, the Titleist Tru series is nice.  I think they're around $20-25.

 

Additionally, Srixon, Bridgestone, and Snell also make good balls.

I did some reading on this topic.

I have a 90mph swing speed and I don't always hit straight.

I prefer a low spin ball that is softer.

I just bought a dozen Bridgestone E12 soft

I think I am done with Titliest and will leave that ball to single digit golfers

Another vote for lostgolfballs.com

They have various quality of balls.  I personally will not play a "refurbished" ball.  I have bought balls from lostgolfballs.com, their top grade.  They are almost perfect and pretty much look brand new.  I have been to these folks facility and they have humans sorting the balls into the various grades.

The one time I ordered from them (pre-Covid-19) it took them 5 weeks to ship the order. My recommendation would be eBay. I've bought lots of AAAA balls for use hitting into my field and from eBay and have had good experiences.
