I was disappointed with OSU.  Things can change but I do not see them making playoffs unless Oregon goes undefeated and there are no other undefeated teams and Ohio State finds a way to dominate some strong teams.

I'll admit, I was disappointed with the Buckeyes too.  I prefer they stay undefeated. 

 

Well, until the last Saturday in November. 😈

 Very funny, oh about that vacated win, you can’t have them vacated if you do not win in the first place. Also, they did not win those games just because they traded a few things for some tattoos.

They probably will. But It’s always tough when a top team loses early. But kinda like @saevel25mentioned, OSU did some head scratching stuff out there. It wasn’t like Oregon just man handled them. They just kept missing 4’ putts when the opponent was in the bunker.

I always thought that was unmitigated BULLSHIT.  It's a friggin' ROSE BOWL ring.  If it's MINE, I should be able to dispose of MY PROPERTY -- ANY WAY I CHOOSE!  And I'm certainly not one to defend the Buckeyes... but, there it is. 😐

  1. I will watch Maryland at Illinois because its a Friday night game, and I kind of want to see how bad Maryland beats Illinois. I take Maryland by 14. 
  2. Nebraska at OU will be a slaughter. Frost is on his way out. I am thinking OU by 27. 
  3. If Indiana lives up to their preseason hype, the Cincinnati v Indiana would have some juice to it. If Indiana can turn back into last season form, then I would think Indiana keeps it with in 7. I am going Cinci by 14. 
  4. Hot take, I think MSU beats the breaks of Miami. Miami is 63rd in rushing defense. They were horrible on rushing defense last year. MSU is ranked 3rd in rushing offense this year. If MSU runs for over 250, they win by 14. 
  5. Alabama v Florida, not sure if Florida is back or just hyped up. Its a home game. I think Alabama by 10, with a late TD. 
  6. Auburn at Penn State. I worry a lot for Auburn here. Happy Valley, white out night game, first big home game in a long time with full stadium. Yea, I am taking Penn State here.

Crazy, I completely agree with your takes.   

I believe OU will beat Nebraska real bad.  Revenge for games missed and Nebraska doesn't look any different than they have in the past.  

Alabama will win by more than 10, 13

If Penn State was playing at Auburn, the score would be different.   I think the home field advantage will make the difference.

Jumped back and fourth with RC of course but Clemson…oh boy! Lol. If they win out I don’t agree they should be considered a possible 2 loss team in the CFP. OhioSt wins out, yes, OU will lose a game if they don’t fix their issues but still a 1 loss…they’re in. Clemson’s done. What you say @saevel25?

Classic example here. Such ignorant coverage seen all the time. It is absolutely paramount that you LOOK FOR THE BALL in this scenario. The receiver is in the end zone..where can he go? He can’t go OB. You SEE the receiver with his eyes in the air, geez…what in the world could he be looking at? The idiot defender has the ball go right over his head, easily deflectable had he simply looked for the ball as the receiver did. Instead he stares at the receiver with that dumb blank player stare hoping he’ll maybe drop it. Easiest play in football yet so often screwed up.

      Day 27 - 2026-01-16 Played 18 with some of the usual "too many voices" going on when I'm working on swing stuff. Fun to get out in great bay area winter weather.

      I know one recent college grad who's trying the same thing.  This guy was a Division III All-American, went on to play one year at Division I LSU, and is not working hard.  He won the Gulf States Open, a pro event, and made it to the second stage of the Korn Ferry Tour School late in the fall.  And didn't make the cut to get to the final stage.  I won't talk about swing or play stuff, but I believe there are a couple of things that are essential.  Obviously, talent, and drive, or work ethic.   I can't tell you how to do it, but you HAVE to get through it.  Golf is going to be your life, and it takes lots of work. Two more things that are really critical.  You'll need the facility to be able to practice.  My young friend stayed in Baton Rouge, as a past player on the team he can still use the LSU practice facilities.  And money.  Its unlikely you'll be able to work a full-time job and practice the way you will need to.  You'll probably need backing, from a parent, from a consortium of friends or club members., something to support you. Good luck, its not an easy path, but anything is possible.  Another young man from our area, Mike Brennan, just won for the first time on the "big" PGA Tour.

      Get more comfortable with being uncomfortable. If you don’t like practicing then give up now. You don’t have the passion to become a pro. Unless that mentality changes you won’t do well under stressful situations.    Call the PGA Tour and ask. They probably have resources available.
