What’s your favorite go to putter grip and why? I’ve been toying around with different styles and brands but haven’t found one I fell in love with…

+ qualities in my opinion:

1) perfectly round (don’t like any part to be squared off)

2) mid to smaller in size

3) slightly textured

Two of my favorite stock grips have been off a mizuno and odyssey stroke lab. Not really a big fan of the super stroke grips. They don’t have much feel to them in my opinion

Currently trying to figure this out, myself. In the midst of testing out the Kotahi Palms Up and SuperStroke Traxion Claw.

Like the former quite a bit when installed in the reverse orientation. Was OK installed as intended, but didn't love it. Have only had a couple days with the latter, but am really liking it. Both feel good with a more traditional hold and the claw.

The Traxion feels outstanding when using the claw. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, as it's purpose built for that use. But it's only subtly different than a normal grip with a flat front. But the little bit they've built it up at the butt really makes a difference.

Historically, I've just rolled with whatever grip came with the putter. Pretty much always a slim pistol style with a flat front. Was a lights out putter in my younger years. Now I occasionally get a little "yippy". Thanks to someone who pointed out I had a bit of a loop in my backstroke. If time travel ever becomes a real thing, avoiding that conversation will be one of the first things I undo, lol. Wasn't hurting anything when I was unaware of it.

I have an Odyssey White Hot putter and need to change my grip. I’ve found these from amazon. I like but without buying it and putting it on my putter how do you know.

I really like this grip. I have long fingers and the larger size let’s me grip the putter comfortably. I use the counterweight to get the overall weight of the putter higher. I adjusted the head weight as well so the swingweight is the same.

I like this grip as well and am having a Traxion Tour 2.0 installed on an Odyssey White Hot OG 7 Stroke Lab putter (when Club Champion finally gets it in :-(). I wear a medium glove size and don't have particularly long fingers, but I find the grip comfortable anyway. Stroke Lab putters are counterweighted with a 30 gm bullet shaped weight which is held in the end of the shaft by rubber "O" rings, so it is pretty easy to remove. The stock grip weighs 75 gms for a total of 105 gms. As the TT 2.0 weighs 55 gms, I am using a 50 gm weight to match the weighting.

I like the oversized Odyssey Stroke Lab grips a lot. I bought a few extra on eBay and even installed one onto a TaylorMade putter. I got fit for a putter a few years ago, and we went the #7 drop-in weights from Balance Certified Golf, which can be installed onto any grip with their tool kit.

I also like the Ping PP58 midsize cord grip, though it seems like they may not make that anymore.

I’ve always preferred pistol style putter grips.  Have had midsize Odyssey and Winn grips on my putter (which I’m pretty sure they are the exact same thing).  Current grip is wearing down, considering trying out a harder pistol grip (Ping, Golf Pride) next time around.
