True linkswear. Vegas, black size 14. Was hoping to get the ecco biom street but they don't make a size bigger than 13. Got the Trues instead based on all the members on here raving about them.

Ping Hoofer stand bag. Black and grey with red trim.

I picked up a used set of Nike Sumo 2 irons/hybrids and a new yes Bella 12 putter. Oh and a new Nike hat. Want to pick up some new grips next

The last golf-related stuff I got was some plastic tees and a bag of 2-dozen Wilson golf balls (for my friend, who hadn't golfed in a long time, as I wanted a cheap bunch because I knew he'd lose several) from Wal-Mart. The day before that, I grabbed some FootJoy shoes because I ruined my everyday shoes (which were 2.5 years old) playing golf and wanted to get some actual golf shoes instead of ruining my next pair of regular shoes.

Bought a 24 pack of the Taylor Made Project A balls and two 24 packs of Top Flite Gamers.

In My Bag:
Driver: :cleveland:  Hi-Bore XLS
Irons: :cleveland:  CCi 3i-PW
Wedges: :nike:  VR V-Rev Cast Black-Satin
Putter: :ping:  IC 20-10A

Just picked up 2 new wedges - Vokey 56 at 14 degrees of bounce and 60 degree at 11 degrees of bounce.

In my Sun Mountain 14 Way Stand Bag:

Driver - Ping G30 10.5* : Fairway - Ping G30 18* : Hybrids - Titleist 915H 21* & 915 H 24* : Irons - Mizuno JPX 850 Forged 5 - GW : Wedges, Vokey 54.14, Vokey 58.12 : Putter - Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 or Ping Craz-E-R  : Ball - Bridgestone B330RX, Cart - Cliqgear 3.5

Picked up a few boxes of some Maxfli Revolution ball at Dicks.  Have a feeling it's gonna be kind of a crappy ball but I guess we'll see.

replaced my 6 iron JPX 825 pro because of a crappy range that I will never visit again

Last trip: Precept LaddieX balls, $16 for a dozen. Trip before that: pre-owned Ping Eye2+ black dot, $94! Like an old friend!

    • Day 133: did a stack session.
    • You can pre-order an R50 here for pretty rapid shipping (these are back-ordered almost everywhere): https://www.playbetter.com/products/garmin-approach-r50-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A700794. This is an affiliate purchase, and I'm willing to kick back lifetime ad-free Supporter membership here on TST or a 90-minute GEARS session for the cost of a regular member lesson (about 1/3 the cost). Also, I'll record a video myself soon when I get an R50.
    • Day 58 - 2024-11-27 Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.
    • Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.
    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
