On the easiest level with a maxed out golfer I have shot 49 numerous times on a few courses.

If I'm not at least 16 under per round it pisses me off :)

In 2006 and 2007 I played Tiger Woods 05 and was shooting scores of 44 to 50 every round and every course. It is to bad I never entered any contests because I find it hard to believe anyone scores better than that.

I've finished -32 in a tournament at TPC San Antonio once on PGA 2012 The Masters. That game is such a joke once you get it all down. Pretty easy even at the hardest settings.

    • It's been a while since I updated this! I posted a few days ago that I shot a 37 last Friday! A new career low for 9 too (I think). I've been working on so many things these past six months, and I love my progress. Here's the huge list: Address: 1) Feel closed shoulders 2) Scaps back 3) Neutral lower back (no excessive arching) Backswing: 1) Shoulder/Chest lowers like an inch 2) Maintain flex in the trail knee 3) Don't suck the clubhead inside in the takeaway. Use less wrist cock early too. 4) WIDTH! Feel the trail arm detach from the body, maintain width in the right arm to the top. Feel in-line at the top as well (not laid off). Transition: 1) Hip drift early (like at P2.7). Create X-factor stretch. Hips drift towards the target as my shoulders continue to turn. Right knee adds flex near the top.  2) Lower chest early. Similar to the hip drift I also want to "pre-lower" a bit as well, to help leverage GRF in the downswing. Downswing: 1) Push up with the lead leg as early and as hard as I can. Lower chest to help leverage this in the early downswing. I can't do it too early or too much. No independent hip rotation for now. It all comes from the lead leg pushing up. 2) Supinate the shit out of my right forearm to shallow to club. Go from thumb up to palm up with the right hand. Reach P6 with the right forearm in the "giving blood" position. Pronate left wrist too if I can as I would like to use both arms for this action over the long term. 3) Arms have zero outward component independent of what the body is doing. I'll shank it if the arms get "too far away from me." 4) MAINTAIN WIDTH IN THE ARMS. My tendency while shallowing the club is to pull the arms inward towards my body. I cannot let this happen. Maintain the radius or all sorts of shitty things happen.  5) Palmar flex lead wrist then supinate/pronate the forearms through the strike as fast as I can. I cannot overdo this. I am horrendously slow and bad at this. But just squaring up the face solves like 80% of my on-course problems right now. That's a lot of stuff! I can work on several of them at once when I go slow. When I go fast I pick one thought and one thought only though: hardcore shallowing the club using my forearms. That's it. Anyway, here's a full 7-iron, my second to last swing before I shot that 37. My normal 7-iron goes about 187 I guess: My torso pops up, I get a little steep, and I hit the toe (a typical pattern for me), but this is a playable motion right now given my level (9.1 index). It's crazy how hardcore I'm feeling like I'm shallowing the club with my forearms, and yet I can still do it more. I'm literally feeling like the club is coming down horizontally and yet it's still not too much. Here's a compilation of some swings from that Friday range session. 90%+ of my range swings are slow like this.    I've actually barely played the last two months due to a mild wrist injury that's almost fully healed. I think I've only been getting out there once a week or so during that span and yet I still shot that 37 on Friday. I do mirror work every day though and I think I'm definitely on the right track with what I'm exaggerating there. Clearly it's hitting at my worst weakness, which is just yanking the handle down and making it unplayable levels of steep by P5.  PS- As a bonus, I included two air swings I did at the end there. I've enjoyed trying to just hone that with video this past year or two. I think it helps me to take the ball completely out of it sometimes, plus it doubles as speed related training.
    • Day 5: did the yardstick putting drill while watching the US beat Bosnia.
    • Day 11 (01 Jul 26) - Weekly 9 hole session - primary focus on tempo with irons on approaches and hitting the meat of the greens.  Greens were a little hairy, so putting was on the aggressive side….still had a decent 39.
    • Day 300 7-1 Low point control with ball. Started out slow just trying to miss towel and ramped speed and length of swing up. Hit foam balls. Was really not feeling it tonight.
