I paid $169 for my Teron (avitar)....but it wasn't selected based on looks or price. I tested a LOT of putters. That one felt the best.


Now if I was only fluent in "green".....

I have paid as much as $120 for a putter; a Scotty of course. At one time I owned over 40 putters. I paid $23 for my current putter. It took me 2 years to find this one. As a few others have said, it is not about the price, but the feel, the level of comfort. I still like shopping for putters, but have not bought one in 8 months.

$475 for my Scotty Newport 2 Button Back. Yes, I play with it. When I practice on the practice green, my putter and I get TONS of looks. Additional pressure to make the putts.

$175 - for the Itsy Bitsy Spider.... I actually might be using this guy more than the Scotty this year..... for whatever reason, I just seem to putt better w/ this mallet style putter....
