I use a red marker and put the letter K in a circle bellow the ball maker on both sides. I normally can see the K in circle without picking up the ball.

I draw a black line for putting and put a colored dot at each end of it.

Nothing fancy.

I will have to get a picture of one of my uncle's "CABIN FEVER" balls. It looks like Jackson Pollock threw up on it. Says he got bored during winter and started going crazy with his Sharpie collection.

As you can see from my signature I've not been playing for a while...when I was back home a couple of weeks back going through my golf stuff I found a lot of golf balls had been marked 'NS' just below the manufacturer name. I couldn't figure out why, then remembered I had a girlfriend that lived beside the golf course. She always used to give me a couple of sacks of golf balls when I'd go and see her and I'd mark those with her initials!

I usually don't mark them though.

i remember i saw a ball and the guy drew a penis on it as a marker. He then asked me if there was a ball with a penis on it over there.

I mark the good balls I play with with my initials, but since I'm learning, I play with a bag of shags, so I have to remember which ball I hit on any particular tee.

As a goof one time, we got our boss a box of balls before he was leaving on a golf vacation. Each of us in the office took a sleeve and wrote obscenities or funny phrases on it. He is a Philly Eagles fan, so I wrote a bunch of pro-Steelers stuff, but some guys got pretty dirty. After he returned, he told us about he didn't want to lose the nice Nike balls we got for him (he was just starting out) so he gave the to his father-in-law. Whoops!!

My eight-year old puts my initials on with a magenta sharpie. Hard to miss that.

For Christmas, my husband bought me a bunch with my name and "water is a magnet" on them. I've already lost them all.
