If we're only talking professional golfers as my 4 , I would choose the following:

Tom Watson - maybe the classiest, nicest pro golfer around
Fred Couples - great laid back attitude and that swing would be fun to play with
Phil Mickelson - love his approach (plus I'd like having Bones along)
Ernie Els - he's like Freddie - great personality, laid back and fantastic swing

However, if I could have non-pro golfers also:
Bill Murray - duh!
Tea Leoni - supposed to be best female celebrity golfer and I need the eye candy. I've liked here since that stupid Fox show "Fly By Night" or something like that.
Charles Barkley - come on - it would be fun and good for my self confidence.
Randy Quaid - not the obvious choice, but I loved the movie "Dead Solid Perfect" starring him, plus he's a funny guy. Dennis is better golfer, but Randy would be more fun to play with (plus he and Bill Murray were in movie "Quick Change" together.

i'd take a day with my friends jonathan, josh, and my dad. our schedules almost never align and we can never get in a round all together.

i really can't say i have any interest in anyone on tour right now. i mean, i like tiger and i like AK, but i can't say it'd be any kind of dream to play with them.

now if we could use players from the past, i'd take hogan, snead, and nelson in a heartbeat.

Didn't realise he was a golfer! Saw him in the lounge at Heathrow last week and seemed like a good guy, he was well hidden away but was happy to talk to a few autograph hunters who found him when BA Special Services introduced him to a famous British TV personality who also happened to be in the lounge.

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…

      I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
