Because I can smash it off the tee or the fairway, and its my favorite club to take a big swing with. I feel my Hyper X 15degree can handle my John Daly swing without screaming right or snap hooking like my driver can when I kill it.

I love to hit my two-iron off the tee.

I sink a broken tee all the way down to its cup, and the ball sits up just enough to play it like a fairway shot (even though I never hit 2-iron from the fairway unless it's a perfect, slightly uphill lie).

I don't hit it far--about 200 yards--but my thick-headed buddies fly their drivers past me, only to see that I'm the one left with the best second shot.

I have to see wide open pastures to hit my driver, and it's an accurate 44½", 13° driver. That's only four, sometimes five holes at my club.

Otherwise, it's 4-wood if I want the ball to stay put or 2-iron if I can let it run out a bit. My course isn't especially long, and I can play to my handicap using this strategy.

Jack always said "the club in your hand should be your favorite club" meaning all of them. But that being said, I love the ease of the hybrid. I will say I love my putter to.

depends on the day, but when my wedge game is on I really look forward to the 140 and in yard shots....

so, a lot of the times, my wedges.....

but, I always look forward to pulling out the hybrids and driver as well....

(if my putting game was more consistent, I would say my Scotty, but the only thing I'm sure of when I pull that thing out of the bag is that it's at least going to look good)

I just love my putter. Its 7 years old now, and I've never thought about changing it since I got it. Its a Odyssey #2 CS, it never misses for me, best purchase I've ever made.

I love hitting 2 iron, but shes not in the bag right now..

but my all time favorite club is definetly my Tour launch 3 wood/Matrix F7M2. Penetrating ball flight, goes farther than some guys driver, absolute monster, thats straight. Most of the time

I don't have a favourite club... I pretty much like all of them same.

I did purchase a Mizuno 2-iron Hybrid this spring, and I like it much better than the 2 iron it replaced

Cheers, Allan

I'll play...

I love my driver...it just doesn't always love me.

I get a lot of use out of my sand wedge - pretty comfortable with that.

But I'm completely in love with my Odyssey White Steel 2-ball. SOO much better than the putter it replaced...granted, it is the newest club in the bag, and I think I always am most in love with the newest club.

My 4 hybrid is probably my favorite right now, although I really do not have a club I do not like to hit (other than maybe my 5 iron, but I seldom hit it anyway). My 51* wedge would probably be a close second favorite.

My favorite club would have to be one of my hybrids. They are just really easy to hit.

Mine is for sure the PW. Not sure why, but I never hit any club as well all season long. If I have to lay up, I go for a PW yardage rather than a SW. 125 is perfect.

Although, Driver is not far behind............i rarely miss fairways.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
