I'd say get the 58. I have a 52/58 set-up and I have no gap problems and can hit any shot that I need so a 53/58 should work just as well.

I have a PW 47º - 52º - 58º setup and find it works very well.

Use both the wedges for chipping, flopping and out of bunkers. I rarely lay up inside of 100 yards, so I can take full swings with my 52º on the approaches.

I've been playing just a 46 and 56 for the last few seasons, but I decided to add a 52 and 60 to my bag for this season. I wish I would've put the 60 in my bag a long time ago.

So, I'd say the 58.

I would say pick the loft based on the distance you are looking for, if you hit a 56 100 yards and that is a good layup distance for you, go that route, if you hit a 58 80 yards and that is a good layup distance go that route.

Do you like to do short flop shots on a regular basis? If so, then I'd go with the 58*. If you don't, then I'd go with the standard sand wedge degree of 56*. You can just open up the face when you want to do flop shots.

Yeah i'm more of a flopping person even though i'm not perfect at it yet. But when i think of shots i visualize high shots opposed to low hop hop stop ones.
Lately i've been hitting pretty long and i'm always in this dead zone of clubs wehre my gap is like 90-110 since its all i have but i'm always in the 60-80 yard range where i have no club

I think a 56 is easier to hit out of the fairway. I had a 58 once and went to the 56 & 60 setup and haven't looked back since. Obviously that's just personal. If I had any big gaps at the top end of my bag, I'd drop the 56 & 60, get a 58, and fill the gap up top. So the point is that my opinion towards a 56 isn't all that strong. Most people who have a 58 handle it just fine. For 60 yards, a 58 is nice. For 80, the 56 would probably be better.

try a few and look at the distance that you are hitting them and determine the yardage that you are looking for....whichever is the closest would be the one that I would buy.
