Thoughts on Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods has accomplished so many things in the golf course in his whole career, he has been the face of Golf for past decade or maybe for the years to come. We've watched him win big time and we watched him struggle. After all that's happen and done, do you think Tiger's best has yet to come or we have already witnessed that? He is still so young and on pace to break all the known Golf records known to man, personally I think we are yet to see his full circle.

I think for sure he'll be back to his old self. He is still young like you said with a ton of talent. I think people are making it too big of a deal, he's gone through a lot the past months + not playing many tournaments, so..

It's good to see Tiger on the course but he's got a lot of tough things going on. Champions will come back and be champions.

Tiger showed us last year that his game is there, he just need to get it working. If he will start winning at the same rate depends on what he does with his swing, he just can't swing like he does today.

Another Tiger thread!?! Geez, he had one bad day, let it go you guys. Sure his swing could be better, sure he had some mental lapses, but it's Tiger Woods! 14 majors, 70-some-odd wins. If anyone will be able to figure it out it's him.

we have seen the best of tiger - unless he gets rid of hank haney. he cannot and will not win like he did before with the swing that he and hank have come up with. it just wont happen.

Sure he will be back, but you can't be the ONLY ONE forever. Someday it ends . Used to watch and wonder if Tiger would win or not. Now watch and wonder who will win.

and his swing has gotten worse and worse. he has won in spite of his swing recently. he has moments when things somehow come together, but hes heading in the wrong direction. did you even watch friday?

Two events in 2010 we have seen Tiger play. A major and a regular PGA tour event. Came in 4th place in the major, and missed the cut in the second regular event. Not sure we have a lot to go on yet besides finishing 4th in major is pretty awesome, right? I guess I always choose to look at the positive side of things.

A lot has happened in the guy's life and it will take time like everything else. Time heals all wounds and Tiger's personal life was severely wounded and will inevitably affect his game. Firing his friend and coach Haney is certainly not the answer, especially looking at the pure facts....Like I said, he has won 6 Majors and 30 PGA tour events since teaming up with Haney...I don't think its Haney, I think he just needs time. I dont know if you remember, but after many many years of frustration and not winning one single major, everyone said the same thing about Bones, "mickelson will never win with bones, fire him"...hmm look at them now....


As for my true thoughts on Tiger Woods? I was disappointed with what transpired and his infidelity to his family, but that being said, his treatment has been despicable. I'm certainly not condoning what he did, that is just as despicable, but its his life, HIS personal life, he just had so much farther to fall than those other unfaithful people in society that do the same thing. I could care less about that part of his life and he never committed a crime. It's comical how that public and media feel they need an apology. I just like watching him play golf, nothing more.

Tiger needs to move on. He did it to himself, except his persona played over and over to us as one person when he was another. He was news mostly because We couldnt believe it of Tiger and had to get more . That said, he is one of the greats. Hope he gets his mind game back, tanks Hank, moves on.

Kinda makes you wonder what is going on behind the scenes. Is a filing for divorce coming soon? Did he fire Haney? (A thread in another forum says yes, then follows up with an ESPN report as no) More mistresses threatening to come out? (National Enquirer is reporting 121!) Equipment issues? (How many times has he changed driver shafts?) There are A LOT of story lines in this soap opera.
