Other: Mizuno. The newer Mizuno drivers are awesome. Theyre super easy to hit and give good distance when struck properly.

It might not last more than one season due to quality reasons, but if you can't find a driver you can hit from Walmart, then you truly are one craptastic golfer. I'm pretty sure I could pound a John Daly brand driver with firm shaft. In fact I may buy one just for kicks!!

My buddy who uses a Taylor Made just won a Jon Daly driver in a tournament we played. After we oooed and awwed he wished he had won THE HAMMER instead.;)

That's funny - your buddy sounds like a poser.

Classic shape and flat out performs. Workable both ways and head hand picked to my requested spec; how's that for service? Best I've hit since an old Titleist 975D.

i would reccommend the new king kobra driver because its accurate and their one of the lightest drivers. if you go out and buy a driver get the new king kobra!

Not true, they have some of the heavier heads on the market. At least the ones I've pulled apart and weighed.

I love my Titleist 909d comp. It launches the ball very high, and doesn't spin too much. If you have a swing speed over 100, this might be a nice club to try

Very high launch = lost yardage due to NO roll out. I know from experience.

I have an R7 Limited 420 cc that I picked up last summer brand new for $105. It was my first larger head driver and I didn't like the 460cc models as much. I love the club, it replaced a severely dated 320ti that I inherited from my father 11 years prior when I played once every 3 years. Every TM driver I have tested has been magnificent though.

I have the G10, thats a good club... also check out the used section at your golf store, alot of good deals there.

If they didn't cost so much i would go back to titleist, they make one hell of a driver.

My Nike Dymo2 SQ that I bought for just over $100 a couple months back is the biggest game improvement I've ever seen. I went from consistently bad with my driver on my worst days and inconsistently good with it on my best, to consistently good on my good days, and not too bad on my bad days.

The club selection of a true hacker:

Driver: Nike Dymo2 SQ
3 and 5 Wood: Nike Dymo2 SQ
Irons: Adams Idea Tech OS Hybrid Irons (5-PW)
Wedges: Maxfli 56* and 60*
Putter: Odyssey White Ice #1 in Copper

The R9 460. Just a bomber. & it loves to go straight. Under 200 new now.

That's the oem suggestion. There's also alot of really sweet component heads out there too. SMT is a favorite of mine, the db455, O2 & nemesis in particular.

Where did you find the R9 460 under $200 new?

Probably the same place where you get "king kobra" drivers.
