Hey guys

I was playing in our club championship today and I got my first hole in one on our 11th hole! The feeling was amazing! Used a pitching wedge from 135 yards and landed it in front of the hole and it bounced once and hit the pin... then fell into the cup!

I want to hear about other people's first holes in one and what was going through your head.

A little north of $300. But our club picks up half of it!

congratulations my friend, welcome to the club! you're a better man than me though, i only bought my playing partner a beer after mine. but it was a public course which makes it rather unpersonal.

Even par through 9 is my best.  I don't even want to think about what was my worst.

Congrats! I just started playing, but during a terrible round of golf last week, I eagled a par 4. My first shot was off the fairway. My second shot, which was about 170 yards from the hole, hit the front of the green and rolled in. It took me a few seconds to comprehend what happened. It felt great and made a bad day bearable. But, unfortunately, I may never hit a shot like that again. It wasn't a hole in one, but it is the par-4 variation of one.

Awesome! Many congrats.

You get your first hole-in-one in the club championship? Sandbagger.

Now you've done it!

Congrats! As someone else said already, I've never even seen one let alone done it myself.

Congratulations. I have never had an ace, but I was at a course when some kid hit an ace. It was his first one and it was on a par 4! He had no idea that it went in because it was so far away, but we could see it from the tee box of the next hole.

Way to go. I haven't joined that club yet, but I did get close the other day. Hit an 8 iron to about a foot.

Ive come close. Mainly sunday (when I sucked and shot 101 for the first time in years), but I put a seven iron ffrom 134 to about 2 feet.
