Andrew is starting to act a little "Andrew-ish.". It didn't bother me last time he was on. This time, it is a bit annoying.

If the girls are smart, they'll never put brian in a benching challenge. That guy is the downfall of the mens team. Everyone here has I'm sure had their own game feel a little weird when someone in the group is blowing up after every swing.

Some truth to that. But there is value to the women in reducing the mens' numbers, as we saw on the last show, regardless of who. Brian is surely the "low hanging fruit", or nut if you prefer. But I have to agree he is a distracting element and least team oriented of the men and so has some value to the women as long as he is playing. But even if they bench Brian he won't shut up and will continue to be a distraction so it is limited value to the women to let him stay active. In fact one of the factors in this format is that the teams are going to have to learn how to "meld" the personalities of the individuals into a team. So far the women have accomplished this better than the men. Individual players don't go away even when they are benched like Dave was. They just can't play, but certainly can still talk.

I don't understand the need for the women to tell the ball to sit constantly for every shot. Is that a catch all phrase? I didn't notice as much until somebody just had to point it out on TST.

It was the same way in the Sandals Resort season.

Maybe all the "sitting" has to do with the ladies slightly lower aptitude for spinning the ball a TON, and have it back up to the pin? Plenty of one hop and stop type shots, but not too many ladies sucking it back to the hole. Then again, Sara hits em so close the announcer will never be able to say "(guy's name) is inside Sara Brown!"

If the men get a chance to pick their opponent again they need to pick Elena. Its soooo easy to get inside her head. Just look at the previews for this week when she is sitting there saying "I hope we make them eat their words". She seems more concerned about making the men look bad then worrying about her own game/her teams game.

How clutch is Sarah Brown? Damn. I turned up my nose initially at the "hit it past the prior ball" challenge but I actually liked it once it got going. 12 shots is astonishing from the Posse.

Benching challenge still to come....

Is it me or does Lori age 10 years when she is painted up and doing sit down interviews w the camera? As opposed to Lori on the golf course with some shades?

One of the guys (Blake?) mentioned that the delay will work against Elena, and he may be right. There is an ego there.

But in the preview of next ep, Andrew is in the background while Brian is melting down. He looks extremely disinterested.... Benched for good perhaps?

New strategy for the guys --- if they win the team challenge, send Brian out to play until he eliminates himself. Either he loses and gets a strike, or magically gives one to a girl. WIN-WIN.

I believe it will work against her. Her ego will be gigantic by the time she goes out and it will get in her way, hopefully. I saw the same clip but what I took notice to is that I didn't see Elena so I took that as she was benched.

NOOOOOOOO! Brian is way too entertaining. I laugh every time I hear him talk about how good he is or how he's the best at a certain (almost all) shot. It's almost unbelievable that he really says that stuff.

Blake has really turned his attitude around this time. I couldn't stand him during his first appearance. This time I hope he goes far if he keeps his attitude going the way he is.

Why would they end the episode in the rain delay. I was really looking forward to the benching challenge but I guess we have to wait another week.

    • I haven't run the ShotScope yet, but I played 18 today.  I hit a great drive on 6 and then, holes 7-17 (excluding par-3s) I hit some very uninspired drives.  Then, after hitting on 17, I realized I'm over-swinging.  So at 18, I took a practice swing with the drill I've been doing during practice shots at home the past few weeks.  Then I decided, one more practice swing, but you know, with the ball right there. So I did.  I didn't even hit it at full speed.  It resulted in a nice high draw and settled onto the fairway.  To put it simply:  if the rules allowed me to place the ball anywhere in my reasonable shot zone as that tee shot, the spot I would have chosen is where it ended up.  I went on to hit two more good shots (it's a par-5) and left myself with a 7' birdie putt.  While I missed it, that drive is going to stay in my head for a very long time.
    • Day 59, June 25.  Played 18 today.  I'll tell a story on the "best shot of the week" thread that makes me think happy thoughts.
    • Day 631 - 2026-06-25 Long day, but stayed a bit to get fifteen minutes of work in. Foam balls. Throwing the back of the club behind me.
    • Day 5 (25 Jun 26) - continued drills w/7i, hard foam balls focused on “nipping the tee below the ball” to reinforce consistent face contact.  Hit about 40 shots total.
    • Day 294 6-25 Low point control with towel. Then hit some foam balls with flow drill. Recorded.
