Erik, are you calling a Patriots victory this weekend?

You really don't seem to get it, man. Are the Browns a better team than the Saints or Patriots?

Agree to disagree - you said it, so now live up to it.

Watching the Packers embarass the Cowboys made me smile. When I saw John Kitna, I was thinking, "didn't he used to throw passes to Steve Largent?" No wonder some teams are terrible. They deserve it.

The packers look really good so far this year. Their QB has really become one of the top QBs in the league. Yeah I don't mind the cowboys being bad. If Jerry Jones knows what is best he will have the old steelers coach come there next year. He is a real winner. I hate him, but he is a winner.

I won't say it'll never happen, because it might, but I guarantee you it won't work if it does. Jerry Jones has too big of an ego to bring in a guy like Cowher or Gruden and actually let them do their thing. Jerry wants to be the GM. Jerry wants to make the deals. Jerry wants to call the shots. It's his team, and he can do what he wants, but he can't expect a great coach to sit idly by as he stocks the roster with players that don't fit the scheme, a'la Daniel Snyder.

Gruden would just want to coach and accumulate QB's. He wouldn't care about GM duties. Jerry handed the controls over to Parcells, who says he wouldn't with Cowher?

When is Dallas going to play? It seems they have been bye much of this year. :)

If you don't recall Dallas' last game, the meds are working.

All I know is I'd kill to have Jerry Jones who wants to win and be over controlling. Mike Brown wants to have control and doesn't care about winning. I have come to believe there are only three things that matter to having a winning team. A competent front office, a good coach, and a QB. With those three things, everything else will fall into place. QBs are hard to come by. Every other position can be filled by the drafts and free agency pretty well or well enough to win. My examples are the Patroits and the Colts. They have totally different teams and find ways to win.

Jones is an ego maniac who doesn't know as much about football and scouting as he thinks he does. The Cowboys will never have a top coach until he decides to step back and allows the coach to do his job. Jimmy Johnson was an old friend, Switzer was a puppet as was Phillips and now Garrett. Guys like Cowher and Gruden would respect Jones, but they don't want to be told how to do their jobs and give up their control over what players they have to coach.

Coaching and a QB with some mobility and a stronger arm. Hard to catch passes when you're expecting the ball to be zipped in and instead they sort of drift toward you.

Nobody is that good this year. The Giants are thought of as the best team in the NFC...when the season started they wanted to run Coughlin out and they were horrendous. Atlanta wins last night and now people are on them...they got drilled in Philly by a Kolb led Eagles team.

Makes me wonder how good my Packers would be had they not suffered all the key injuries they've suffered. I thought it was their year before all that and the diluted nature of the NFC is keeping them up there.

Would you quit deleting my post and just answer the qestion? Are you calling a Patriots win over the Steelers?

you my friend, are SPOT ON

I would love to see Cowher or Gruden take over, but Jerry loves the coaches that are just push overs so he can always get his 2 cents in. I honestly think Romo is part of the problem as well. I just don't think he has that "it" factor that's going to win big games on a consistant basis.

The Bengals freakin suck. Really, 3 picks, a fumble. If they didn't make the retard errors they could play with anyone. Just annoyed.

Looking foward to the game tonight. Love Sunday Night football. Go anyone. I just like seeing good teams play well.

    • Could course committee have an MLR option to declare this bunker GUR?
    • Sorry, I will disagree. You got a penalty because you hit it somewhere and didn't want to play it from there. Bunkers are not the general area. If you had hit it into temporary water in the general area, you'd be entitled to relief. You hit it into a hazard, a bunker. Why should you get free relief when you hit it into a bunker? If someone else hit it into a different part of the bunker, without water, they'd not get a drop for free out of the bunker. Heck, it'd cost them two strokes if they didn't have an ACC and wanted to drop it out of the bunker.
    • I love golf, but we have some really dumb rules. Like this one, you get a penalty stroke because it rained.
    • No. If there was a place no closer to the hole that afforded some relief, you could have dropped there. If you were truly as far away from the hole as you could, in the "back" of the bunker, then… your options were basically to play it as it lies (lied? lay?) or take the penalty stroke and drop behind the bunker (keeping the point where the ball was between your drop and the hole).
    • Day 121 - Had a tournament today, not my best. I was hitting everything off the heel.
