I liked what I saw from him last week in Hawaii, and now we can all see what he's doing at the Hope. What are your thoughts this young bomber?

I'm not sold yet lets see how he does with a more competitive and highly televised field on a tougher course.  But right now he is playing better than any one can't deny that.  His driving accuracy is what surprises me he hits just about every fairway.  That is going to help him down the road.

He showed a lot of grit coming down the stretch today, but much of that was the result of hitting bad shots under pressure. Still, those were all-world up-and-downs during the playoff.

I like the look of Vegas...I think he still needs to be tested a little more, but his game looks strong and should be an interesting player to follow.

He struggled on the back nine yesterday but has a lot of game, great distance and looks to be a solid putter. He managed to hang in there and got the win, nice job!!

A big bomber with a soft touch around the greens is always a threat. Best clutch putting I've seen in awhile.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
