wow... nbc has managed to show all of 5 minutes worth of golf coverage in an hour and a half. i couldn't care less about all the feel good mini-stories they keep showing. i don't care about which presidents played golf and their handicaps, what the inside of the clubhouse looks like, or what the national mall looks like on google earth. american golf coverage is terrible.

Sergio didn't go to the range to hit a single full shot before his round which I find quite shocking. He then proceeds to hook his first tee shot of the day into the thick rough. I don't see the logic behind it

That's why I hate watching network golf.  I wish the Golf Channel had an exclusive contract with all of the major golf events.  They still have some of those moments, and I understand they have to sell advertising, but they are much better at simply covering the golf aspect of ...golf, than the network channels are.

lol... i actually switch back and forth to skysports and nbc. which country are you in, shorty?

Rory has missed a couple of greens so far, but managed to get it up an down very well. The scores are weird this tournament. Some players are making birdies right and left, while most of the field is struggling around or over par.

Rory's short game and course management have improved greatly in the last year. It actually looks like he has no weaknesses at the moment
