Man Bill Haas must feel like he's on top of the world right now. Wins 1 tournament in 2011 and he makes more than anyone else on tour and tops it off by getting a captain's pick for the President's Cup 2 days later. If the Tour Championship was a major, then he's accomplished more than his dad ever did in his entire career.

Ryan

My thoughts also!  I will say that Haas's win was exciting to watch.

I remember Johnny Miller saying that he'd be lucky to get his shot from the water inside 15 feet. To see it check to inside 3 feet, I was shocked! And the fact that Haas came out with clean clothes after that shot...wow!

Should be a new Titleist commercial. "With my Vokeys, you can get LOADS of spin from the water"

Ryan

Norman, as expected has gone with 2 players who grew up playing the super fast greens of Melbourne's sandbelt courses.

If Baddeley can keep it on the fairway he will be tough to play with a pure putting stroke on pure greens.

Allenby can't putt anymore of course - but that hasn't stopped him winning there in the past.

If Freddie had waited, he could have picked any two of Bradley and Haas, but maybe Phil and Freddie didn't see eye on Keegan - get it . . . eye to eye . . . Couples is a little guy while Bradley and Mickelson are giants.

I still wish he would have saved his 2 captain's picks and gone with Haas and Bradley, I like TW as a player, but (imo) he just doesn't deserve to be on the team this year!

yeah im a huge TW fan, but he shouldn't have been picked.

glad to see alot of aussies on the international team though

Many don't agree with the TW pick, but no denying that TV ratings will be exponentially better with him in it. I have a funny feeling he is going to play really well at this. Guess we'll see his form soon at the Fry's Open.
