I wonder if he called Tiger from jail, and asked him to come post bail for him? LOL

Mark "hey Tiger, i'm in jail" "

Tiger "what?, your in jail?, what happened?"

Mark "oh went out partied like a rockstar, met some girls"

Tiger "oh I know exactly what you mean, I just won a tournament, but let me get you my limo to pick you and the girls up"

I also didn't see anything that Haney wrote as damaging to Tiger beyond the betrayal of coach / student confidentiality so it wouldn't be worth it for Tiger to sue.  Last thing Tiger wants to do is bring more attention to Haney and his book.

I'm not talking about his opinion of Tiger.  I'm talking about specific instances he said occurred with Tiger.

And nowhere am I saying Haney said Steinberg cleans up Tiger's messes.  Just saying he said they were close and talked about it in the book.

I read that upon arrest Steinberg 'identified himself', probably as Tiger's agent. Now, why would he do that?   One can only think Steinberg was hoping for some kind of special treatment according to his 'high place' in life, or at least his high place on the financial scale.  So again we see no correlation  between money, prestige, position  and moral behaviors.  The USA is not China nor Imperial Arabia where the 'quality' rides over the masses with impunity.  Recall Venturi, a golfer of renown, arrested in Florida,  drunk at the wheel.  Not good.  Personally, i truly despise drunk drivers.

Oh, and ApoCG10, i can recommend Pepto-Bismol for upset stomach.

Ran across this and thought it was interesting.  He said he was driving under the influence because of "medical issues".

Quote:

Tiger Woods' longtime agent Mark Steinberg had his license revoked in an arraignment Monday for a drunken driving arrest on June 2.

The 44-year-old was arraigned on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and DWI in Ardsley Village Justice Court in Ardsley, N.Y., according to Bloomberg News Service . He is due to appear back in court on Jan. 25.

Steinberg was one of 11 people arrested at a sobriety checkpoint off the New York State Thruway. His blood-alcohol level of .18 was more than twice the state legal limit of .08. He told Bloomberg that a "medical issue" was related to the arrest.

Woods has been represented by Steinberg since 1999. The duo were together at IMG but left in July 2011 to join Excel Sports Management. Steinberg also represents Woods' nice, Cheyenne Woods, Players Championship winner Matt Kuchar, Gary Woodland and Danielle Kang.

.18!!!

That's blasted.  Medical issue?  There is a malady that requires someone to drink a twelve pack of beer?

Well it is called alcoholism, even though you cannot use that to get out of a DWI. Funny how a murderer can claim they are hearing voices and get out of a 25-life bid, but the court system still refuses to deal with the disease of alcoholism.

I say anyone who gets more than one dwi should be banned for life from buying any booze, that will clear up a lot of the mess even though loop holes will be found.

Hell it would have saved me a LOT of trouble.

And the insanity plea rarely works.

Yeah. If the entire world worked like Law and Order, there would be a lot of sociopaths running around.

Yeah well once you start getting multiple ones, alcoholic or not, you've proven yourself not to be able to drink safely.
