Probably no one, not even Tiger, knows what caused a five over performance yesterday.  Some how I just can't accept it was (just) the pairing.  This was too important to Tiger for him to allow the pairing to influence his play.  Tiger had to be "up" for this round regardless of who he played with.  Maybe he has become "normal" and just had a bad day.

Nothing caused a bad round but Tiger. Just like there is nobody to blame but myself for playing badly today.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

A professional should be able to ignore their pairing and play well. Tiger of 2000 would never had been bothered by who he was paired with. This article is filler nonsense.

Shouldn't have mattered, but he probably grinded harder when he was playing with Phil.

Tiger of 2000 had Steve Williams on the bag. Together they were very intimidating and made it very difficult for other players. Mostly Tiger's play of course, but don't underestimate the importance of the way Williams and Woods over the top antics allowed Tiger to focus on the cause. Does Couple's old caddie bring out the fire in Tiger like Williams did? Maybe Tiger should swap caddies with mild mannered Adam Scott until he hits #19?!?

I haven't seen Lacava break anyone's camera yet.

How would Tiger's exit off  #18 on Saturday would have played out with Williams in the picture? Would that photographer have been positioned right there?

Probably not.  Steve Williams was/is a huge bully.  He was the bad guy so Tiger didn't have to be.

I've thought that there could be a Thur/Fri pairing of Adam Scott, Furyk & Tiger and let all of Tigers caddys get together for a couple of rounds (seems USGA'esque)

Or have him tee it up with Jesper Parnevik.  That dude hates his guts.

I wonder why? I mean he (Jesper) "hooked" him up with a hot chick and all.

Jesper hates him.  In regards to Elin (whom he introduced to Tiger):

"I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of a 3-iron,"

Um, because Elin is Jesper's friend, and Jesper hooked them up, so he feels betrayed by Tiger's actions.
