Depends how you view it I guess, but I would say 26-49%. I shot my best round ever this year, but I've also become less consistent. It may be closer to 50% perhaps, but I'm pretty sure I was more consistent last year. Parts of my swing may have improved a bit, but so far, not showing on the course. Last year I comfortably hit a push-draw and didn't struggle with the driver. This year, my ball flight is very unpredictable and the driver is 50-50.

My swing and overall game has definitely improved - my best at my local 9 hole course has reduced from 53 in 2011 to 40. Ok, it was one of 'those' rounds but I couldn't have dreamt I'd shoot so low in a years time.

I'm hitting the ball a lot better and my enjoyment of the game has drastically improved. However, in terms of scoring, there isn't much difference between fading the ball into the into the rough or slicing it into the rough!

My short game, putting and irons are definitely better thanks to Mike, Erik, and James with Evolvr and AimPoint.  My tee shots still need work and that is where my focus is now.  But now I am getting out of trouble and getting a chance for an up and down instead of a double or triple bogey.  I need to improve by driver accuracy so my next year's self can whip my butt.  Single digit is my goal.

I'm in same ball park.  Swing looks better on video but, results don't show.  I have a decent round followed by a a bad round.  I played in a tourney this weekend and ended up shooting 12 over and I'm seriously at my ready to quit golf phase.  I can't believe how I've put so much work into my swing over a year and be worse than my garbage golf swing from a year ago.  Anyone want to buy some clubs?

At this point I'd say 91% - 100% but it's been a long tough road totally overhauling my swing from scratch but it's starting to pay off dividends.  I'm finally able to trust it but I'm still not dialed in on my distances with all my clubs.  I'm hitting the ball flush more often, but not all the time which is causing club selection problems.  If I need to go 150-160 yards that's a well hit 7i or a decently hit 6i.  It seems I've been picking the wrong club almost every time which I'm guessing is mental more than a swing issue.

Same here.  My long game (220-yards and up) is much, much better--primarily I think due to upgrading my 10-year old steel shafted driver and 3-wood.  My long irons have struggled, primarily I think because I rarely hit them anymore (because I'm driving the ball so well).  My overall iron play is about the same.  My wedge game and putting has suffered for the last 4-6 months.

only been playing a year and a half.   Logged ~ 150 rounds so far (got to play through the winter with the warm weather here).     Biggest improvement this year is my irons & wedges ... getting the feeling of really compressing the ball & seeing a different ball flight.   Problem is with trusting my new distances - I'm always long if I hit it just right (which is actually quite demoralizing).    Gotta just set up for my "pure" distance and trust i - tough to do.

Greenside chipping is killing me - I practice chipping so much & never get see the benefit of it on the course (repeat demoralizing).    A straightforward chip that I should be able to get to 4 ft, winds up 8-10 ft MOST of the time.    It's the single element that without question keeps me from being in the 80's regularly.

Last year I had a cheap Acuity junior set and played about 8 rounds all year. I probably couldn't break 115 playing legit. I acquired a full set through my birthday in November and Christmas. I have probably played 120 rounds of golf since January and shoot in the mid 80's legit. Hopefully next year I will be remarking about my improvement to shooting in the 70's consistently!

Yup.  This time last year I had not even swung a club (except for mini golf.)  Sometimes it's useful as a beginner to remind myself of this from time to time.  I am naturally pretty athletic so I assumed (LOL!!!!!) I'd pick up golf really quickly.  What a learning experience I have had!  It has been humbling to say the least.  But in a good way...I am having fun and realize that golf is about so much more than just hitting a ball with a stick.  I love how cerebral the game is.  I am developing a lot of new skills and plan to play for years to come.

I played a few rounds last year and shot 120+ each time.  This year I am very close to breaking 90.

Not really a fair comparision as my year ago self had to forfeit all 100 matches due to rehabing my knee from ACL/Meniscus surgery in May '11.  This year is going much better even if I am putting like a blind man.

My handicap has dropped from 28.6 last June 1st to a 12.3 as of July first this year.  Have shot my low career game of 74 4 times since May this year not a single round over 88  since feb this year. Have been playing for over 40 years,  was diagnosed with MS and cancer within six months of each other and was in a wheel chair 2 yrs ago so I could not be happier with the way I am playing now. But it is funny I can remember last year I was over joyed to break 90, now if I don't shoot a 82 or better I get mad. Played the last 3 days and shot 78 , 78, & 80.

Only one person so far has said that they have gotten worse and just three have said they've stayed the same compared to 44 people who have gotten better to varying degrees.

Since I've only played twice in the last 5 years before picking it back up in April, I withhead my vote since I didn't golf last year.

I will say I'm a more complete golfer than ever but have room for improvement.

I started the playing again after a 3 year layoff in March of 2011.  I was at a 26.8 handicap.  I am now a 17 and trending low, so I am sure that I am much better, but with all the work that is going into it, I hoped I would be farther along.
