He's also said that he makes a practice stroke anchored and then moves the butt of the club off his chest for the actual stroke. He's totally fine.

You can anchor the practice stroke. You can touch your clothes with your actual stroke. 

You'd think the way fans watch the game in HD that they would have phoned in this stuff by now if he'd actually violated the rule.
