Love it. Whenever I finish my man cave, I will have many pics like these hanging in there!

The photo on the first page of the guy with the beard... it looks like he's lining up his putt. That's what I think of when I picture golf history.

Imagine him watching you swing... "Git offa mah course!" Kinda creepy.

These old photos are neat. Lots of history. Thanks!

Chris

I don't play golf, I play at golf. There's a difference.

Now here's a golf swing! That's me taking a lesson from my dad who was a PGA Professional in Maine. July 2, 1958.

Great picture! I'm sure you cherish that one!

Thanks! I do. Now, years later, I wish I had paid a lot more attention to what he was telling me.

After looking at these pictures ill never feel ackward smoking while playing a round again.

I hope you don't mind a modern view of a classic image. I suppose I can convert to black & white and pretend!

Harry Vardon teeing off at Fall River Country Club on October 20, 1900. The clubs is still there today, and is a few minutes away from my office. I absolutely love this picture (and hope to play there soon).

Love this one.  Note the water bucket and box of sand for making your tee.  Truly old school.
