I didn't catch it. Fell asleep when they were on 15. (His 6th hole of the day) I recorded it so I will check it out when I'm home

I understand the poster of the YT video is trying to convey that Woods hit a bad shot, but fat top shank?

Is it possible to top and fat and shank a shot at the same time?

i think it was a drop-kicked duck hook, from what i could tell.  it appeared that the ball ended up short and well left - hence the duck hook.  he also hit the ground at least 3 inches behind the teed up ball - hence the fat/topped.  there was no shank, from what i can tell.

Rory and Tiger both hit shots that were much more "human" than their usual, always makes me feel a little better. I have not seen Rory make two doubles in a round in a long time. Rory has at times hit some bad shots, he just usually recovers better than he did yesterday.

Exactly, they will both be fine once they hit their stride. I expect them to both finish the season, barring injury, some where in the top 5 possibly 1 and 2

I wish they would show those rare bad shots better than they typically do.  I would've liked to see a slow-mo and the announcers should've said what the carry distance was.  Not to embarass the guy - but I would just find it interesting as a viewer.  Plus it helps you understand how good the *next* shot is (which it usually is).

Man, I can't afford to throw my clubs around after making a bad shot...they would all be bent and dinged to heck.

In my  bag:

Driver, Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 9.5 stiff

3, 5 woods: Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 15,18 degrees Stiff

2 hybrid: Callaway Diable Edge Tour 18 degrees R (out when the 5 wood is in)

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
