I need some assistance from you guys please. I am looking to do a bachelor party in June with 5 or 6 guys. We would be coming from Long Island NY. Looking for a golf course with some hotels bars and restaurants in the area. Would like to be in the Nj or Connecticut Deleware Pennsylvania area. Basically no more than a 3 hour drive. Please help don't want to pay $199 to play at Foxwoods. Thank you.

If you want to try the Philly area, check out Scotland Run in Williamstown, NJ. http://www.scotlandrun.com/ It's about a 1/2 hour drive from Center City Philadelphia. On the way back into the city you can stop at any of the gentleman's clubs on Essington Ave or Delaware Ave. The gentleman's clubs are actually more my area of expertise.

Thanks for the response. I think Atlantic City is the destination. A fee courses to choose from. I liked what I read about Blue Heron. Any others?

Seaview has a pair of nice courses. Can you get on ACCC?

I agree with Scotland Run or you could do Twisted Dunes. For my friend's bachelor party we all chipped in, got a suite at Harrahs and had the "entertainment" come do a private show. It was way better than any other gentleman's club in AC area and less expensive.

Atlantic City is the obvious no brainer selection here!! Blue Heron is nice, Stone Harbor is nice, Atlantic city is real nice but you referenced not wanting to spend 200 for a round. if yu book room thru casino ACCC may become much more reasonable...depending on the crew you are coming it could be a comp!!! if you have connections to get on Gallaway do that, it is a good track.

Blue Heron is pretty nice, but I'm partial to Seaview, my home course. ACCC is the classic jewel in my area, but in June you'll probably be paying close to 2 bills for a round there. Seaview has two courses of different character - a true links on the salt marsh (not a links-style built in the woods like Twisted Dune), and a great parklands course. Plus, you can stay at the Seaview hotel (a grand old style from the roaring 20s) and take a $20 cab ride into the decadence of AC and get t!ts and booze to your hearts desire!

Lefty, you played Galloway?! I heard that even Senators and movie stars can't get on Galloway. Hmm, I'll get you a freebie at Seaview if you can get me on Galloway...

Some friends and I did the same thing at the Borgata, but we quickly found out the ladies weren't "dancers," if you follow. Most of us made a beeline for the casino while a single friend stayed in the room.

only once, was the guest of a guest. the owner is or was the CEO of Commerce i believe. this was meeting of several heavy hitters, multi-million (over 25m) deal was on the table. i got the invite because they needed a 4th and buddy thought i would ease the mood in the group. i had a blast, the place is great. i honestly didn't know it was real hard to get on. The guy who took me is well connected and when you play with him regularly you never know what or where the next round will be... it is good guy to have a golf buddy

Sorry no extra curricular ladies. Went into Staletos for 20 seconds. Wasn't feeling junkie dancers with no shape to them.

    • Day 2: did my Evolver drill in the mirror.  No club, just did the motion. And this time I am confident I am doing it correctly.
    • Nothing is assured and lots of talented young athletes in many sports fail to achieve greatness. as was said, injuries, growth, lots of things can come into play, And let’s let honest, over the years a few players have been branded “The Next Tiger Woods” and yet there is only 1 Tiger Woods. My initial point was if he can do a great breakout it may capture the attention of a new generation.  Back in the 70s it was Secretariat in horse racing, we also had Jordan in basketball and let’s not forget Tiger for golf.  Stories get people interested and I think golf needs a new story. I will pull for him and hope it works out but there are so many factors that come into play you just do not know, But I can hope.
    • Day 114: 4/19/24 Chipping and putting practice. Tried a little hinge and hold with good results, which has never been the case during a real round. Playing tomorrow and eager to play.
    • I don't think I've found any of the Good Good stuff, or the guys that were once a part of it, very interesting.
