Here's Nike's latest commercial with Tiger as a Dick's Sporting Goods sales rep selling a Covert. Thought it was pretty funny.

With the hat off, he does middle-aged schlub quite convincingly these days. And I say that as one.

I'm really liking the marketing coming from Nike and even Ping with Watson and Mahan. They move in the lines of entertainment.

Very good, I like it.  My 5 year old son loves the other commercial too, "Sorry Mr. Tiger!  Did you see that?".  He keeps repeating it.  Nice piece of marketing.

Why do they call golf "golf"?  Because all the other four letter words were taken.

I agree, nice to see someone taking on TM in the marketing department.   Ping's ads are okay, but the Nike ads are top notch so far this year.

Agreed. The only thing I don't like about TM's advertising is they always claim that it will increase distance as if it's the only thing they're concerned about. With their latest R1 driver, it's all about adjustability, but since most competitors having their own adjustable driver, it's not much of a selling point anymore. Plus, I don't need a million settings when one will work.

I guess you can say that I'm not really a TM fan.
