I walked 9 yesterday in 90+ heat. It was late in the day and we had shade on the first few holes, so that helped. I also drank 3 bottles of fluid. Today it is going to be 95F for my league round. There is no shade on this course's front 9, so it will be a sweat fest. All this after I walked 18 on Tuesday in 90+ temps.
I agree with @JonMA1 and @RFKFREAK, long winters make playing in this weather a must!
After a 23 year layoff, just came back two months ago. My cheap starter set from 1990 was really beat up. So, I upgraded the whole set to TM M2 irons, a Callaway XR 16 driver and replaced my fairway woods with a Ping G30 hybrid. So far, I have done 200% better driving, and am a decent ballstriker off my irons. It was $$$, but at 61 years old, I felt I was due to have a decent set for once. My old ones were Wilson Strater, and had been through the war back in the early 1990s. The only original club I use is my Ping anser putter.
7/28 - back to full swing grind with focus yet again on grip, stance, take away, head still, low point control, in-line impact, and forward weight shift. Becoming second nature at this point. Really happy with the results of this challenge.
Right now the Dems are seeing a bunch of children (Bernie or Bust) who saw their candidate (Bernie) get 80% of his agenda on the Democratic Platform and got Hillary to agree to it, but because he didn't get the nomination they're whining about it.These idealists think that if they throw the moderates under the bus, they'll get their way in 4 to 8 years. With a possible 7-2 conservative Supreme Court they won't for decades. But when people are thinking emotionally you can't talk sense into them. And still others aren't taking Trump seriously yet.
You see these people talking about voting for Jill Stein. Jill Stein is no more qualified to be president than I am. She's never held public office. Anyone can take positions and get their name on a ballot. She did a lot of volunteer work.
I know this is "under review" so to speak, but I would echo this. I went back Jeremie's swing thread; his receptivity to direction and subsequent swing changes has demonstrated his dedication, and his obedience has born out marked improvement. Nice job, Jeremie!
