I think Webb Simpson will win it this weekend.

Is Bubba blaming his caddy for that triple? Seems like it with the tone and whining, blame voice.

Why do they call golf "golf"?  Because all the other four letter words were taken.

He wasn't happy with the club selection on the tee shot. And then it sounded like he didn't believe the yardage from the drop zone.

Just venting some frustration haha

I was about to congratulate Ken Duke for a long-awaited first win, then that happened. No one wants to win this tournament.

What else would you expect from the "fun loving and crazy" Bubba?

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Bubba is a whining baby.  His actions of blaming someone else for his errors are those of an egotistical a-hole who thinks that he's better than everyone else.  Wait, it must be God that made the balls go in the water!  And made him hit it over the 18th green!  Of course, we'd only hear about God if he won.  I know, here we go again...

And now a playoff, great chip in by Stroud. He's going to have a tough time calming himself for the real work now of winning the playoff.

Don't think I've seen a worse chop at a driver on the first playoff hole than Duke's high capper lunge...

Stroud is pumped, Duke is disheveled. I have to believe this playoff isn't going to carry on much further. ...and then Duke sticks it. Shows you what I know.

Ken Duke wins at 44! He's no longer that guy that's always in the top 25 but never wins.

I still have 19 years to get good enough and win on tour hahaha

Crazy Ken Duke finally won. Great tournament this year. I really love this course.

PS- That Chris Stroud sure has a handsome swing.

Well, he really wasn't that guy. This year he missed 10 of 18 cuts and finished inside the top 25 just 4 times. This just shows how hard it is to win a golf tournament, when a 44 year old (not very fit) journeyman can win any given week, the depth on the Tour right now is incredible.

Did Stroud chose the right club off the tee? I think he would have had a better chance to get close to the hole from a bit farther back (like Duke was), hitting 3 wood off the tee. But of course, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

    • Day 2 (20 Jan 26) - Similar work as yesterday - started with lead hand solo drills with the 50°, followed by series of pitches and chips utilizing full setup.
    • Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do lift weights but I’m also adding yoga or Pilates for mobility and flexibility to my routine.
    • Day 18: 2026.01.20 Continuing work on arm raise during backswing. Starting to feel less weird, especially the slower I go. Looking like a busy week so might be the weekend before I can hit some balls.
    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
