I agree, nuttin special about her at all.

I think the fact she plays golf inflates a lot of people's perceptions of her on here... not saying that's a bad thing though

The sad thing is I'm starting to believe that Dufner doesn't realize the obvious gold digging status.

He met the girl in 2009. If she thought he was going to have a good year in 2012 and win a major in 2013, then she may be the smartest predictor in the history of anything.

Golfers tend to have hot wives. They also tend not to get divorced too frequently.

True, but she didn't marry him until he won good bank. I don't know his background, but golfers definitely have a good background of being from well to do families as well. Good call on golf wives, be interesting to research which came first though. I don't think it's too far fetched to say pro athletes usually have hot wives.

If she was a gold digger, I would think the millions of dollars he earned in 2009 ($2.2M), 2010 ($1.1M), and 2011 ($3M) would have been plenty… and she'd have pushed to get married much more quickly. I don't see a lot of gold diggers with long dating/engagement periods.

Your theory has some holes. About $6.5M and three years worth of holes.

Guys ...let's not get too carried away. Seeing an outrageously gorgeous woman with a chubby, odd looking man.....with a ton of cash....hardly deserves criticism for gold digging suspicion. Fairy tales and happy endings are wonderful. Just don't count on them. Now my shanks appearing every three days....that's golden.

Personality is part of it, he seems like a very cool person. We all know people that look like Greek gods that are total duds. When I was dating I preferred a fun person with imperfections to a bird-brain. I did some modeling when I was younger but was never a chick magnet or anything because I tend to be stoic and unapproachable. People tell me I look mean here and there but I'm not, but I am definitely not the life of the party.

All I've said is that my theory has a lot more validity than yours. How often do you see "gold diggers" date for three years? You're the one who said she only married him after he'd made money in 2012… never mind that they were engaged before then, and he actually took a week off during his hot streak to get married.

I agree with @Ernest Jones on your opinion of women, and see no point in allowing you to continue in this thread. Have a fine day.

      While it does turn out that both Tiger and Phil are less squeaky clean than I previously believed, I don't think golf quite has the worst in professional sports.  Or maybe they're better at image management.   Obviously I'm not fond of Phil's issue we're discussing in this thread (or his involvement with LIV) or Tiger's choices of how to drive.  I used to really like Dustin Johnson and, even before the LIV situation, we started to hear rumors that he bought more snow than Seward, although I don't think those stories were ever substantiated.  Meanwhile, I did think of Anthony Kim as the "good, bad boy" of the tour for a while fifteen years ago because of his party persona -- and if it turns out the worst he did was show up hung over to play (barring what one thinks of LIV), that's pretty good.  And I'm still happy he found a way to get his life clean. If we contrast that with some other sports I enjoy, I'm sure we could find a nice long list of NFL players that, at one point in my life, I was quite fond of, we get far worse disappointments (to put it mildly).

      Answering that properly would land me in hot water, so I'm not going to. I don't think that many people would do that. I think that in certain circumstances many people would be willing to overlook someone doing that. But I was really referring to what I assumed was Tiger's transgressions (cheating on his wife) not Phil's.

Most humans/men would not grope a woman like Phil is accused of doing (I think he absolutely did). That is scum. I mean what % of men do you think would do that? Seriously??
