If Bridgestone made the Nike balls, maybe they're basically just his old ball? Did Nike ever take over fully, or were they always the maker of the Nike balls?

Based on what I'd heard, Nike golf balls were made in Bridgestone factories.

What I'm saying is that I know they were in the first few years for sure, but I don't know about the later years - Nike may have taken over. Or maybe they didn't.

The last I heard is they designed their own golf balls at The Oven but outsourced manufacturing to Bridgestone.  I don't believe they ever added the mass production manufacturing.

Woods' sponsor logos is a gift that just keeps on giving.

Read somewhere he's carrying it 300-310.  Despite reading he's been testing TM, weird actually seeing him swing one.

My golf Twitter feed is almost all Tiger Woods today and it's only Tuesday. He still moves the needle.

No wonder it took so long for a swing video to surface. Forgot the PGA clamps down on this sort of thing. But McIlroy posts his own swings while on injury hiatus and those vids not deleted. Getting off topic but confused on how social media is "regulated" by TPTB.

Brian Wacker's Instagram of the swing has disappeared, with the clip no doubt having been detained for questioning by the PGA Tour Police.

I'm actually starting to believe this might happen now - are we in the 'it's too late to pull out now' zone yet?

I am really excited for tigers return I hope he returns to the top of his game.

That's unlikely (he set a very high standard), especially in the early months.

But I agree his return to good form and winning ways will be exciting, and good for golf spectating.

As much as I hate to agree with this you are right.

I would like to at least see him win a few more majors.

If he's genuinely healthy again and plays for at least 5 years, I think he's got a good chance for at least 2. But his body is pretty beat and it's a lot harder post-40. More than that may be a reach.

I'm a big Tiger fan and would enjoy watching him eclipse Jack's record but the window to do it is just about shut.  Even if he's 100% healthy, he's lost the advantages that he enjoyed when he dominated because the rest of the field has caught up and passed him.   It's been 8 years since he last won a Major and the field has only improved over those 8 years.

    • Best drive I've ever hit: I will not be answering any questions about the rest of the hole. Or the round, for that matter.
    • I tried hybrids way back when TaylorMade introduced the copper orange Firesole Rescue, the clubhead having been made of titanium which was still relatively new even in drivers back then. I couldn't hit it well at all, and while the success of hybrids suggests that the modern ones must be quite good,  I'm perfectly happy with the 5, 7, and 9-woods.  Early ones of mine were Top Flite Intimidator 400s made by Spalding... and also made of titanium, now that I think of it.  I still have them in my basement. I do bag a driving iron, but it's a one-trick-pony that never sees fairway use.
    • The last time I played Maxfli balls, Dunlop was still making them. How long ago was that? Mostly, though, I used to play Top Flites (original 336 dimple model) when Spalding was still making them. Now I play the Pro V1x. Last time that I ordered some, Titleist was still making them. Let's see how long that lasts.
    • Once, on a course in Middleton, Massachusetts that I used to love but has since closed down,  I hit the wrong half of a huge, UK style double green.  Then I made the hundred foot putt.  Tough to  forget that one.
