Who do you think will end up on top after this whole FedExCup thing plays out? And why?

I've listed the top 15 in FedExCup points at the end of the season, but you can always choose "Other" and tell us who will really win. This poll will close at the start of the Tour Championship.

I would love to see it come down to maybe the final pairing at East Lake on Sunday with Tiger and Adam Scott battling it out.

But Tiger has to be a favorite.

got to go with tiger on this one. he's the man.

No one can come close to play as good as Tiger over the whole playoffs. Even when Tiger isn't playing the first event.
In my bag:

fairway wood: 906 15°
Hybrid: 585H 19°
Irons: 4-PW 695MBWedges: 52° 56° & 60° CG12Putter: Bettinardi C-Series (Carbon Steel)Ball: Pro V1x

Ernie Els. Tiger handicapped himself by skipping the first event.

Usually use NXT Extreme's or HX Hot's
Soon to be Home Track : Grey Silo GC (71.5 / 128)

I'm going with Vijay. I'll be probably be kicking myself when the 2nd round starts and Tiger's playing.

In the bag:

3-Wood: XLS
Hybrid: X
Irons: CG Golds 3-GWSW: x forged 56/13LW: Vokey sm 60/.08Putter: Callie 35''Ball: pro v1

Tiger Woods. I think he purposely skipped the first event just so he can look even more dominating when he wins... like, "ha, I'm so good I don't even need to compete in all the events!"

Driver: SasQuatch 10.5°, Stiff Flex
Woods: Grand Slam 3-wood & 5-wood
Irons: TPS 7.0 3I-PW
Wedges: 56° sand wedge & 60° lob wedge
Putter: White Hot #6

Everyone is going with Tiger, obviously, because he is the favorite, but I like Mickelson's chances. I really think he's playing good golf right now, finally getting over the wrist injury that set him back a bit.

I would love to see Bubba Watson contend, but I doubt it. Lol.

I just feel that if Tiger wins one of the last three, he will be good enough in the other two combined with his starting total to take it. My semi dark horse is KJ Choi. I say semi because he won twice this year, but he always seems to be right there. He's leading now and started in 5th in the standings. I hope Vijay can hold on and miss the cut. A nice Phil spiral would be good as well. Then again, if either of those guys win the first event, I could see Tiger come out next week and blow the doors off everyone just to make sure neither one of them take it.

This link is pretty cool. It comes from PGATour.com and has the up to the minute standings on the FedEx Cup points. It projects the points based on where players are right now.

at first i voted for tiger but that was before i found out he wasn't playing in the first event. i dont know if he'll win because i dont think he cares about it. i mean why else would you sit an event out in a 4 event playoff? is it even definate he will play in the other 3??

Is there any doubt Tiger wins two of the last three? There is no doubt in my mind he's going to try and make a mockery out of it - just to show up Finchem.

Actually, depending on how things play out this week - like if someone way down the list wins and no one in the Top 10 in points plays real well, he may skip next week, as well.

I don't think Stricker is going to hold on tomorrow. lol.

yeah, he hasn't been able to close anything out this year.

I think Stricker will be ok on Sunday. Westchester is such an easy, short course that he could use a 7-iron all day and shoot 69. Stricker has been pretty consistent and the course plays to that this week.

Anyone want to make an even money gentleman's bet taking Tiger against the field??

I just imagine Judge Smalls coming in and saying, "Gambling is illegal at The Sand Trap, sir. And Tiger never loses."
"There is no miracle tip. Fix your swing."

well i heard tiger is not going to play in the second event either. i really dont understand why he isn't playing unless he truly doesn't care about winning the first fedex cup.

    • Going to a Friendsgiving tomorrow and I am bringing a no-bake cheesecake. I make the crust too big, but I think it turned out good. The filling is really good.
    • Sure, but how was your alignment? 🙂 Day 53 - 2024-11-22 Mirror work after getting back home. Wife is a superstar for her career/job/whatever.
    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
    • Day 128: played 9. Nice little even 9, with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys.
    • @DeadMan, I think your approach makes sense. As @dennyjones said, consistency is the key.
