Just saw this. My wife is due with our son on August 10th!! So obviously golf in San Diego is out of the question, but the reasons to miss golf don't get any better. :-) Have fun guys!!

Guys if you want to open to another guest, I am sure my father in law would love to come?

He is not on TST so not sure how you all feel about this, but to make up a full four some, if it really matters i am sure he would like to attend.

I could do the same and invite my buddy Jeff that came last time, but he's also still not a member, and I think I'd rather we try and get another TST-er first. :dance:

Agreed. I'd like to leave it open a bit longer for TST guys, but ultimately I want full groups.

Hey guys, just a reminder to get me your current handicap indexes when the new revision comes in tomorrow. I'll get the groupings done during the week. I'm assuming we're doing the same modified stableford game unless anybody has another suggestion.

Also, I want to give the course a good headcount on Monday, so if you want to come (or if you need to bail out) please let me know before then. As of now, we have 12, so if we add on more, I'd prefer it be 4 more.

      Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)

      Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry

      You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
