Not really understanding the sentiments against Kaymer. His iron play and swing are as as majestic as Scott's Are people imagining some sort of Teutonic dourness? I would prefer him by a mile to a scowling Bubba or a mugging Kuchar any day of the week. Would be happy for Snedeker to have a chance.

Agree with this. Sunday ain't gonna be much fun if the leader's got a double digit lead. That's the only reason I'm hoping Kaymer comes back to field a little bit. I'd love to see him win, but a little drama would be nice.

Well to be honest, I don't like Adam Scott. So maybe i have something against majestic swings

I don't really get that. In the first place, we're only half-way. In the second place, nobody thought Woods first Masters, or the 2000 US Open, were anti-climactic. But those who like to see a dominant performance from him seem bored by a similarly dominant performance from someone else. I'm really liking Kaymer in this, he's playing superbly. (well, he was until this tee-shot:) )

The more I practise, the luckier I hope to get.

I'm not betting on anyone just yet. The pressure on Kaymer not to blow this lead is huge and may affect him.

Getting weird here. I'm with Johnny Miller - can't Kaymer hack the ball 10 yards back and right towards the fairway? That's got to be a better option than an unplayable.

      Wow, what an arrogant post, and for absolutely no reason, just out of the blue. I haven’t been here for two months because I only came here to ask a rules question. I got my answer, then stated my own opinion that it was a dumb rule to say a rainwater flooded sand trap does not get a free drop away from the water. That’s my opinion. If I came here to ask a question then obviously I WAS trying to learn the rules.  I won’t be back here again though. I can’t believe how hostile you guys get defending rules that MANY people think are dumb. As if questioning the rules of golf is sacrilege. EVERY sport’s rules evolve over time. I believe golf lags behind in that regard. Likely because of this inflexible attitude. I love golf and want to see it get better. Just like I love my country and want to see it change for the better. But you guys are the golf version of “love it or leave it”. Please delete my account, so I don’t get anymore of these notifications.

      Day 59 (30 Jun 24) - - 1/2 swing Sunday w/7i…Right knee a little tender, so just did some punchy iron shots using the hard foam balls.  Focused really getting core rotation.  Hit about 20 shots total - 1/2 from flat lie, 1/2 from varied lie (above feet, below feet, taller grass, etc).
