Hey, @iacas, your book must really be good! Someone is selling a used copy on Amazon for $3,301.81! 😲

And it’s in “acceptable” condition too!

It’s a bit over-priced…..should be closer to an even $3000.00

If that one's worth $3K.
My signed copy should be worth at least $10K.... right?

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

It’s very eye-opening; it’ll be some of the best money you’ve ever spent on golf

My copy was waiting for me in the mailbox when I got home on Sunday.  I have began reading it, and liking it already.  We just received a fresh blanket of snow yesterday, so it looks like I'll be out in the shop swinging away on the practice mat for the time being.  Can't wait to get more into the book!!

This reread is allowing me to capture points missed during earlier reads.  The book will be a lifetime reference tool I hope to pass down one day to my grandson or granddaughter!

Who knows how many you might have? Better buy a dozen copies now. 😉

Lol! From the production plans that my children have provided, we have max’d out at three.  Of the three the one that is in my profile pic, who turns 6 in early May, is the most likely to pursue the game in earnest. The other two, while they will putt putt and hit some on the range, do not seem to have the passion to do more.  Then again, they are only soon to be 8 and 6….hmmm, maybe two more copies?

  • 6 months later...

finally got around to buying the book, look forward to reading a couple times over the winter as off season and ran are upon me...weird question. Don't really plan to be a range rat this winter, but did sign up on a sim house. If I read it and do a "work through", with the understanding and acknowledgement that sim golf is to real golf as internet distances are to actual distances...I presume the strategies found therein, a good place to practice them would be sim courses?

Any specific recommendations for melding the reading and sims?

    • Definitely better. Keep doing it more. More wall drill. Right glute stays on the glass in transition as it shifts laterally 3 inches or so. Then the left glute back and up on the downswing. You're almost there.  Yea, I hear you. Old habits die hard. It looks like you have about 8 degrees of early extension with the upper body from where you were at address. If you can somehow maintain your address angle at impact while finger printing the glass, you'd probably get some pretty quality strikes.  Getting the glutes/pelvis stuff working better is the more important of the two, but they are related for sure. You can work on both when you do the wall drill. You will have to try to adapt to hitting the ball with lower hands/a lower handle than you're used to and that can be pretty challenging.  Hopefully your mobility/core stuff is good too. That'll help.
    • Day 249 - Worked on making my backswing more fluid. Instead of arms then hips, trying to make it one, smooth motion.
    • Day 63: went to the range and worked on my priority piece and filmed for about 40 minutes. Made some decent progress I think. Still more to come though. Also putted for a bit, working in that 3-9 foot range.
    • Yeah, but are you still using the Edel? Even if you're hitting the gate, are you hitting it really low on the face? Look at some of the putting videos at:  30-Day Practice Plan - Golf Evolution
