I think fit has a lot to do with it, and every brand is a little idiosyncratic. Foot Joys have always fit me well. At last year's golf shop tent sale, I ran into my buddy who was looking for shoes. Every pair of Foot Joys he tried on, would give him "heel slip". He finally found a pair of Nike's or Adidas that didn't do that.
And good waterproofing is a must! I've had FootJoy shoes with a 1 year guarantee last 4 years completely dry! I like that!
I am a terrible tournament player - my mental game is weak.
Our women club champion has been the same 2 players in the last 15+ years. The 2 of them and another 3 single handicappers play together every day, so when they play tournaments, they play each other like a regular game.
I kinda enjoy flying under the radar...
Day 52Moved on to Planemate day 2 drills of 7 day protocol (1 armed swings). Then repeated day 1 Planemate drills but only 15 balls instead of 30. Then 10 balls with driver (no Planemate) just for fun.
