So basically the crown gave out, and now it's bulging just back of where it meets the face. Guess I'm going to be calling TaylorMade... Had it for only a few months... :-(

The wear mark on the face is maybe a tad high, but not enough that I'd think the crown would give like that. But, it's just like any other mass produced item, there will be a failure rate. I'm sure it'll be a quick conversation with customer service. If you bought it at a local store you may even get to go back and swap them for a new one.

I got it from budgetgolf.com and they're pretty reputable. My wife has the driver/3 wood of these. Clubs just feel cheap. Not sure if it's the weight that makes my mind think that but I have hit hers a couple of times and it's just a dead sound coming off to me. And I like TM usually, 11 out of 14 in my bag right now are TM.
