Stuff like this is why Phil doesn't win more but is a fan favorite.

I dunno, he was inches away from making birdie.

What would have been great is if Mickelson took a bite off of a danish and then hit the shot while he was still chewing. :-D

Oh well, I hit a crap shot, but I got a munch of this tasty pastry. Mmmmm... Nom nom nom

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

I watched the first time he hit into the hospitality area, and that was a crazy scene!    Watching both the fan reaction and Phil's was priceless!!    They seemed much more subdued the 2nd time around, but I didn't see the entire clip leading up to it, so it's hard to say.    Ya gotta' love Phil!!

I agree.................

...and it's not like he doesn't win!   Phil is in elite company with 42 PGA Tour wins and 5 majors.

Second time was much earlier in the day, among the non-leaders. :)

Huge disappointment heading into tomorrows final round - Phil gets a MDF, and doesn't get a chance to hit it from the hospitality suite for the third day in a row.

Players play, tough players win!

Phil double visit to the hospitality, lately he seems to be way wood but still finds a good recovery in the bag.

what are the odds of doing it twice?! In the final round, he hist his ball in the water, takes of his trousers, with just his chin above the water, makes his swing and ens up with a birdie
