Possible Ping Laminate Problem

First I've heard of G20 problems. I'll have to ask my brother in laws how their G15 irons are holding up.

My old set of G15's is in my buddies bag and his still look good as well. The finish on the 20's is quite a bit different so maybe that's where they changed something in the manufacturing.

Yeah the G15 irons I believe did not have this laminate process or whatever it actually is.

Yeah, I get to have it replaced and then I will sell them.  :-)  No more ping irons for me.

Well...I bought mine from a guy in Washington state on eBay ...and no...not counterfeit or anything wired like that.

I think it's has more to do if you walk on a regular basis, at least that's what I was told.

Just with one club recently and got it replaced. No issue with the i20's or the S55's.

I haven't sent one in yet as I have two tournaments next week (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday). I can't send it in until after I finish playing in these and return from Washington D.C. (I head to the airport from the golf course on Thursday) so I haven't contacted PING yet about it, though I plan to contact them a couple days before I arrive so that I can just send it in immediately when I return home.

I think I've only ridden in a cart for two or three rounds of the probably 100+ I have played with these irons since I got them last August.

Not sure, maybe the clubs "clack" together more when you walk.

I looked at all my irons closely and it is starting on my 5 iron as well. Getting the 8 and 5 replaced and then I will be selling them. I honestly don't know how ping can keep putting this product on their irons.

So strange to find that there's such a consistent issue with PING irons like this. Sucks to hear that you keep having these issues. However, now the fun begins with finding a new set. Since you are on a completely different level than me when it comes to golf it will be interesting to see what you end up with compared to me with my fitting last night.
