I normally like to see that.  Except with bigger spacing.  He pretty much killed that whole square.

bigger grass strips between lines please

I don't know about his house, but I'd like to see that swing.

I just want to know what he's doing on the range that has him aiming at the same target with likely the same club for that many shots. It seems like it might not be the most productive practice?

Or he could be OCD?

That will take all season to fill in.

Yep. Those lines needed to be spaced much farther apart than that.

I've seen that before where they had to use the sod cutter to scalp it and put in a patch. Our course nearly lost the range two years ago. They cut several long strips from the edge of the 10th fairway to patch it and put out mats because the hackers hacked it to bits.?

Ya after seeing that I wondered if it was a sign of good practice or not. They are nice shallow divots but if he/she was aiming at one target I don't think there would be 7 parallel lines.

I've been switching clubs and targets on every ball this season so my divot pattern looks nothing like that.

If the target was 200 yards away the lines might as well be parallel. His aim would still only be of by a foot or two at worst

My strips are straight but that is excessive. If I hit two large buckets, not common but I have done it, it's just two strips about three feet and between them about the length of an iron head. Some of it would be off a tee.
