Speaking of trash can buttons, is there a way to delete drafts of posts on the site with one click like on the previous host, or does one have to select-all within the reply box and delete that way?

That was easy.

I don't have any idea what you're talking about and have never seen that happen.

I just clicked after the image and hit the backspace button. Then if I wanted I could click the trash can to delete the "attachment" from the post, too.

I did those. The image came back. There's a way around it, so no big deal.

The only way I can think of is to have someone sign in as me. I'll try and do a screencast.

I doubt it's particular to your account. Just list the steps to reproduce it.

I've noticed that the "new content" search ability disappears when I log out. Makes browsing the forum a bit tougher for all the lurkers out there.

Due to some oversights, our previous Mail-Tester.com score was pretty abysmal. It gave us this image (with a score around 1.8).

Last night, we got it to 7.6, which gave us this image:

Today, now that the rDNS has kicked in, we're up to a 9 out of 10, which gets us this image:

The @mentions function taunts me sometimes on my work laptop. It will come up slowly, then when I try to select the name from the drop down, it disappears before I get there or doesn't respond when I do. Could this be a firewall issue on my end @iacas? It worked that time.

I don't think so. I think it's just a matter of JavaScript speed and the size of the post (more text = more parsing).

I think this may be better in 4.1. It's faster on the IPS site.

Ditto. I've found luck usually on the 2nd or 3rd try by "Insert other media" and insert image by URL. I know it's not an image, but eventually that works better than just pasting the link into this text area here. YMMV- it's inconsistent though. (Macbook Air, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, Chrome latest version 46.0.something)

I don't think it's that consistent.  

The editor was a big change in 4.1. Let's see if that improves it.

I am trying to get the Activity Stream to function like it did previously for me. Which as to show all updated threads in order. It would show all read and unread threads listed in terms of last updated. 

I have it set up like this. The content is Topics only. This was the set up before the site changed format. 

The results I get on this is just content from September 29th and before. 

When I change the read status to stuff I haven't read yet.  I get no activity. The only new updated stuff is the Blog posts if I switch the content types to All Content. 



Not sure what has happened. It seems like it doesn't register any of the new stuff since the shift to the new site as new content activity, unless it's a blog. 

Has anybody been able to set up the activity stream to allow them to view all the topics read and unread?

Then don't choose "Content items, comments, and reviews." That shows every post separately. If you just want to see the top-level item, and not every comment beneath it, choose "Content items only."

You should at least include Blog Entries in there, btw.

There are background tasks running which rebuild content and things.

You know, you can copy and paste the URL.

Some of you may want to empty your caches, too, if you're having trouble with the new editor appearing properly or not working.
