Check out True Linkswear.

Easily the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned.

What model do you recommend?

I've only ever worn the original True Tours (they look like clown shoes :-P ), but have heard that some of the other models like the Stealth and Sensei are great too. Just be sure to try before you buy as the sizing is a little off from most other shoe manufacturers.

These are the ones I wear.

I love Trues as well, but just my 2 cents is that if you really "need" them to be waterproof and you often play in wet conditions they may not last real long.  At least that has been my experience with three pairs that were supposed to be waterproof.

Yeah, I had an issue with my first pair, the seam between the sole and the upper started to separate. They replaced it free of charge at Golftown and I've never had an issue since.

I have always found certain models of FootJoy to be comfortable and reliably water proof.  As a frugal golfer, I tend to shop "out of season" for shoes that are on clearance. Since FootJoy has such a broad line of shoes, from very cheap to very expensive, my dividing line is the 2-year waterproof guarantee.  Shoes with only a 1 year guarantee (or none) don't make the cut. Then, like you, I want them to be under $100.  My last purchase was a pair of Contours.

I walk a fair amount, 70-80 rounds a year walking and another 30-40 riding.  Michigan has some pretty wet courses and months. The Contours have stood up to the challenge.  When I have had a problem, they have honored the guarantee.  My last pair was purchased 09/2015 for about $70 (still in the box).  My 2014 pair are still in fine shape.

I can't tell you other brands are better or worse as I have been pretty much stuck on FootJoy.

Ditto on the contours. Think they cost around C$70 and lasted three seasons, maybe 150 rounds, pretty well all walking with a lot of wet conditions. Just picked up another pair of FJ's, a similar model, leather uppers with the 2 year water proof guarantee, C$94. Very comfortable with a little more foot support. I find FJ's fit my foot shape better.

Lots of sale deals out there right now

I play in Crocs Duo Sport.  Not waterproof at all.  In fact they have big holes, but they are the most comfortable thing I've ever worn.  They form to the foot.  They last a lot longer than normal Crocs because the sole is radically different.

So what if your feet get wet.  Be a man. :-D

When it is 40 degrees, dry feet is a lot more comfortable.

You can get Adidas Boost golf shoes right now for under $100. I bought a pair when they came out last year and love them so much I bought another pair a couple weeks ago. They are 2 year waterproof too.

I'm all set now.  I  went to the taylormade outlet store  and picked up a pair of adidas tour 360 lite for a grand total of $27 out the door.  They  are 2 years waterproof and pretty darn comfortable.

Hard to argue with $27.

Be careful on the greens with those, I can see them tearing up the grass pretty easily.

Another big FJ fan.  They fit me great, run true to size, and are comfy right out of the box.  Their water proofing is among the best I've experienced over the years.

Several models can be had for well under $100, and if you look, there are some great deals out there on line.  I just got a pair of $250 ICON's for $99....

I've had good luck with FJ too. I did buy a pair of Ashworth's at the end of the season with my pro shop credits (winnings) as they didn't have my size in FJ. They seem really comfortable when I tried them on at home and they have 2 yr waterproof warranty. They don't have replaceable spikes so will be interesting to see how they last.
