Anyone using these?

I bought a set and regripped yesterday.  Ever since I got injured I have been fighting pulling the ball left.  As I understand the larger lower hand is suppose to help eliminate this by lightening grip pressure and not letting your right hand take over the swing.  Took the to the driving range last night and started slicing my driver.  Never had that issue before as my natural shot is a draw.

I'm going to the course today and see in they help my game.

I had these put on last year and really like them.   They are especially great in damp weather.   Year two and they are still going strong.   I realize that people will tell you to replace them every year or over so many rounds but they aren't cheap.    I paid over $10/grip.

Several of us had the opportunity to review the grips early last year.

Unfortunately, I don't think the actual reviews made the transition to the new site.

Bottom line for me was a nice grip, but I prefer the more aggressive feel of the original ND's, especially in hot, humid conditions.  I noticed no difference due to the reduced taper.  Mine are past due for replacement, and I'll be going back to the original ND's.

A few of us got to review these last year, and I continue to use them. Best grips for me.   In fact, I've just bought some more on Amazon, although they aren't cheap as @dennyjones mentioned.  I tried to post the link for the reviews but said it the page requested doesn't exist anymore.

My irons are being re-shafted now and the MCC Plus is what is being put on them.  Happy to comment when I get them back.

Yes those are the ones, but mine are red.  About the price I payed as well.  I built mine up a little more when I put them on.  While it didn't solve my pulling left problem it did help.  I have to focus on less right hand grip pressure to get the desired effect.

I have them, on my wedges only. On my other clubs I kind of faked the same effect with a NCMC grip that I put four wraps on the bottom portion.

They're awesome grips, just not cheap.

Awesome looking deals on the bay for them, but the cynic in me questions the legitimacy of some of them. Counterfeit grips can be a thing. The cynic in me also sees that the seller who is advertising a majority of the listings has a 96% positive feedback (whereas usually you go with 99% or better for the most part) and is based in Taiwan. Not saying it's a total deal breaker, but it makes me scratch my chin.

I am thinking of putting these grips on my current set.  I currently use Lamkin crosslines with 3 wraps. I was going to put these on with just 1 base wrap. Odd question but going down in wraps to a standard, will this help release the club better more over my hands?

Those grips are supposed to be standard for the upper hand and plus 4 wraps on the bottom.

I Have the plus 4 on my Driver and wedges and like them.  I think you'll be fine.  The left hand on that grip is a bit larger than standars

    • I think 95% is more accurate. The leader of our course rating program shot from the hip and said 90%, but I recently read elsewhere that it is more like 95%. So we spend 4 hours or more on a course with a team of 6 to 8 people to figure out the last few rating strokes as to whether they exist or not due to difficulty. I credit this site/forum for getting my interest up in volunteering for my state association. I am marshalling for the US Mid Am qualifier later this morning 15 min from my home. We get shirts, hats, 1/4 zips, a cart with our name on it, a radio, lunch and unlimited snacks all while watching some great golfers. 🙂

    • Day 2: August 12.  I did 25 balls of the ruler drill from LSW for putting.  24 of the 25 stayed on the ruler through 36" but some were smoother than others.  I suspect if the ruler (and goal) had been 48" far fewer would have stayed on.  I'm trying to go by sound, and not look, since when I attempt short putts, I don't want to look (although now I wonder if that's conventional wisdom that turns out to be wrong).
