Serious maintenance mistake on the green

Here is Socal its usually a fall/spring deal as well.  April and October seem to be pretty common times.  However, even if you play super frequently, there are enough courses that it's easy enough to keep playing through both of those periods without being affected by the aeration processes.

Yep, Spring and Fall on my course's as well.

Some places punch 1/2 of each green then punch then other half. I'd rather they just do te entire green and get it over with. I understand the reasoning, it just seems to drag the whole process out longer to where the entire green is healed

Wow, I've never heard of a course that will do only half at a time.  I'd definitely prefer just closing the course for two days to get everything done.  Do they keep the course open the whole time then or do they still close for a day or two?

My club just finished punching our greens yesterday. I remember last year they did it right after Labor Day as well. image.jpeg
