I just noticed that the PNC Father/Son Challenge is here in Orlando. Jack Nicklaus is playing in it. John Daly's boy has some game.

I watched a bit. Daly's son is very good. I also got to watch some of Lee Trevino. He is one pro I would love to play with. Just a genuinely funny man.

He has won a tournament this year per the TV coverage.

fun to watch. Even manage to pick up a few things.  I was watching Jack Nicklaus putt. Open stance, right hand low at hip level. I may play around with that a bit, as it helps me with a vision problem I have and it looks like this might be a better way of visualizing the path. (upper right Hyper). I would also employ a spead grip as my putter is a little longer than standard (cut down belly).

Nope, LJD has a more conventional swing, and the kid looks very promising. He used the forward tees, but even so, quite exceptional for 13 year old. I also am impressed with the way he handles himself and Dad too for that manner.
