As if I didn't know, thought you'd understand the "tour" statement was sarcasm. Read again and see that I quit competitive golf a year ago and my game has slipped I'm well aware a 3 hcp isn't near D1 standards, just looking to improve ball striking cause Idc about short game anymore and college doesn't let me afford a good practice facility.

Thank you, yeah I found an interesting article on ball compression and attack angles. Ball starting coming off the face really hard today and saw great improvement. Here's the link if interested.

Okay so i worked on getting the ball up. And i found a great drill to make you hit it high, 4 iron over the pick ups and trailer park.

Can't afford a good practice facility, but can afford to replace windows?  Suppose you've figured out the height problem though in that case, nice work.

Well I did make a mistake with the dickweed comment and I apologize, but the afterward comments is me being 20 and not accepting defeat. Roll the advice comments. And at this point I know nobody wants to help a dickweed like me, sooo ill just post and be happy.

You're a 3 HC and most of us are not able to help you as our ability is less than yours. There are a few very, very good instructors on this site. They will help if you are willing to listen.

Since, on the webs, you're never sure who is really who, vs. playing a shtick, etc., I don't get too riled up on these things.  I thought the way @saevel25 seemingly ignored the insult and came back with detailed advice, maybe you guys knew each other and it was in jest.  Guess not.  But since you called yourself a dickweed--if you really think that's the case--well, just like w/the golf swing...make an adjustment to fix it!    Else, I'm a bit of a wei wu wei (Alabama-bred-but-sorta-craft-your-own-Taosim) guy.

As a behavioral sciences geek, I just found a lot of the little things in this thread amusing.

But, none of that's on topic, sooooo.....

Height.  Experiment with ball position a little, maybe?  1/2 ball forward, etc.  Or...just use your natural (gifted) flight to your advantage, don't change, and play around it.  Mostly kidding, here...I'm the last guy that will give anyone swing advice.  Best stick w/the true gurus.  Best of luck with all.

Yes i've played around with ball position. I found that my spin loft wasn't great with my longer irons i.e. compression. I worked on shallowing out with a delofted face by doing drills and a lot of half swings, ball started to jump and rise later in flight.
